SimHQ is publishing a new series of articles on DCS: Black Shark, discussing coaxial helicopter aerodynamics, the trimming mechanism and autopilot features of the Ka-50. These will be released in installments throughout the week.

Thanks for the heads-up. These are a good read, especially for people new to the sim and are well written in easy to understand terms. Looking forward to the next couple of articles.

Is it just me or did this series already fizzle out?

Aw... :( I had hoped the fizzle would stretch until at least the 2nd to last article. Guess I'll have to spend more time on the next set...f there is a next set! :D

The author did a great job. I learned a thing or two and got some better understanding of what these systems are doing when I use them in flight. If you have not read them yet...do so. They are a must read, you'll be treating yourself.
