ED Team JimMack Posted November 19, 2009 ED Team Posted November 19, 2009 I'd like to concur. It can aid in estimating your height over ground visually when flying low. When I first learned to fly (it was in a glider with very basic instruments), initially I had great difficulty in judging my height when landing. Instructor gave me a hint - when I could distinguish the blades of grass, I should be about to land! Having problems? Feuerfalke Posted November 20, 2009 Author Posted November 20, 2009 That's no sniper. It's a laser-designator. It's part of the same simulation: TBS.
