Lightning1111 Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 Well I've been flying in BS for about 7 months now and still my question remains? How come in my sim I don't see like the actual pilot suit and person in the inside of the cockpit when i look down to the Cyclic and Collective and rudder pedals. Im referring to this: http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/images/jan09/BSrps05.jpg Thanks in advance fellas ;)

You say you have read the manuals, then you must have read the key commands. Panzertard Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 It's also smart to keep a polite tone on the forums - especially when replying to new folks. Give them a bit slack. ;) No reason to get snippy in here. :) The mind is like a parachute. It only works when it's open | The important thing is not to stop questioning
EtherealN Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 Yeah, be nice, we're watching. ;) DarkEagle, have you memorized all ~550 key commands? Well, if you have "read" the manual then you should have, shouldn't you? My point being - it's not practical to memorize everything, and sometimes one of the more mundane commands can slip under the radar. No need to be argumentative about that. luke88 Posted November 24, 2009 Posted November 24, 2009 Is it really that unforgivable to ask for a key command? Come on guys, get off your high horse! 1
Lightning1111 Posted November 24, 2009 Author Posted November 24, 2009 You read the manuals? yeah right.. You say you have read the manuals, then you must have read the key commands. Either you are blind or you didnt read the manual(s) I can assure you I read the manuals but I was looking under the commands for VISUAL or VIEWS or something close to that. Would never expect to actually find it under SHOW. But thanks for the resistance nontheless :music_whistling:
Frederf Posted November 24, 2009 Posted November 24, 2009 Shift-J for "jitter camera" is also a fun and not-seldom-used command!
Boberro Posted November 24, 2009 Posted November 24, 2009 It is worth to use search forum and or read keycommands too before post 100 times same problem. Welcome on our forum :) Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make... HISTORY! :D | Also to be remembered: FRENCH TANKS HAVE ONE GEAR FORWARD AND FIVE BACKWARD :D ಠ_ಠ ツ
MTFDarkEagle Posted November 24, 2009 Posted November 24, 2009 Point taken guys, I was in a bad mood.. Welcome to the forum anyway :) Lukas - "TIN TIN" - 9th Shrek Air Strike Squadron TIN TIN's Cockpit thread
Lightning1111 Posted November 24, 2009 Author Posted November 24, 2009 Jaja no problem mate. I've been in those times as well. Thanks to all ;)
JetFuel Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 I also found out about this very Cool command, "Right CTRL + Num+" It enables bullet camera, it follows cannons, artillery shells, tanks etc firing off and you can also slow down the time by pressing Alt_Z fast forward by Ctrl_Z normal speed Shift_Z, you can see the shells as it leaves the barrel its really cool. I didn't know it until I decided to look through view commands in options.

I'm gonna try that when I return home this afternoon!:pilotfly::D Tried it a few minutes ago, that's a really cool feature! I didn't realise this was possible. I thought this was the same kind of ballistics follower as in rockets etc.. Thanks for the tip!
