Hi

as default in the option/control/ka-50 real is almost all buttons 2-combination except hover H=on/off and O=uncage SHKVAL/designate target, why only 2 on/off button????

I'm not sure I follow your line of thinking. Most of the commands I use on the keyboard (like selecting weapons, targeting mode, HMD etcetera) are single-button commands. Exceptions being some things that I either use the mouse for or have mapped to my stick.

But generally speaking, the reason why there are so many two-button commands is that there are some 500 commands you can give the helicopter. That requires combinations because no keyboard has that many buttons.

Why do you need all the buttons? You don't need to know or use the key-combinations for all safety caps. Just use the mouse and there you go. You know, stick and collective have a limited amount of buttons as well ;)

As said above, why do you need to know the key combinations? I certainly don't, in fact beyond 'G' for landing gear and 'H' for HMS/NVGs I have no idea what the key functions are.

ED have given you a beautifully made click-able cockpit, learn what the switches in the pit do and then use it.

But it's faster to visually remember where they are in the cockpit, there is even logic in the button positions (radio group, engine, weapons, etc.). Just setup the most used ones in the joystick and use the mouse for the others, it's faster than trying to put all keys in the joystick, at the end you won't remember them all.

hi

It´s faster hit a keybutton than a mouse(move + hit)

In this case, check out the pit-builder-forum.

If you mean what you say, there's little alternative.

I personally can recommend P.I. Engineering "x-keys" if you are not ready to go that far. They offer fully programmable keyboards in different configurations:

Re-Programme the relevant Inputs to Single-Press Inputs via the Options/Controls Menu in the SP GUI.

I went into the controls keymap and simply cleared all the settings to selectively add back in what I needed on the keyboard. Not only do I remember the keys because I set them, I found out some "hidden commands", and if I hit accidentially Alt+Shift+Ctrl+; I dont' have to worry wtf I just did!
