Hellacool Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 Anyone else have an issue where the buttons on the X52 Pro stop responding? The stick and throttle still work but not the buttons. Sometimes I can Alt-Tab out of the game and back in and they will start working again. Other times I have to Alt-Tab out, clear the profile and reload it.

GaryIKILLYOU Posted January 31, 2010 Posted January 31, 2010 Never had that happen, but I have had the S-Video cable come unpluged in a dogfight..... :/ My Specs:Win 10 Pro 64bit/ i7 6770K 4.5Ghz/32GB DDR4/ GTX 1070 SC/Samsung SSD Warthog Stick/TWCS Throttle/TrackIR 5
Silent Warrior Posted January 31, 2010 Posted January 31, 2010 LOL! Bet THAT was inconvenient! :D I don't have any such anecdotes about Saitek gear (my X45 is as stable/dodgy as it was within five months of purchase, but nothing has happened similar to what the OP describes), but I could relate how the stick on my Logitech Wingman Force just broke in two as I was playing Starlancer... Fail!
Hellacool Posted January 31, 2010 Author Posted January 31, 2010 Happens sometimes, though it's very rare for me. Seems to be a touch and go issue. I played last night and only one time the buttons stopped responded, then a minute later all my button presses came in at once, made flying a bit difficult.
Westy81 Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 It happens to me too! At least once in every mission.
Ramstein Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 Happens sometimes, though it's very rare for me. same.. :joystick: ASUS Strix Z790-H, i9-13900, WartHog HOTAS and MFG Crosswind G.Skill 64 GB Ram, 2TB SSD EVGA Nvidia RTX 2080-TI (trying to hang on for a bit longer) 55" Sony OLED TV, Oculus VR
Westy81 Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 More details... It happens to me too! At least once in every mission. My OS is Win7 Ultimate 32bit, Phenom X4 940, 4GB Ram, GTX 260 and trackir 4. Every game i play the buttons on my X52 PRO (latest driver and software) stop responding for a certain amount of time then all of a sudden, every button pressed while it was not responding start to send command in sequence. When I ALT-TAB and go to my joystick properties panel. Every buttons respond perfectly. Also it seems that its only in Blackshark. Tried different flying games and did not encountered this behaviour. I even tried to reinstall Blackshark, drivers, etc in every order possible. Help!!!
Slayer Posted February 12, 2010 Posted February 12, 2010 Make sure you don't have functions assigned to the buttons within the game and the Saitek software. Just a guess. HitchHikingFlatlander Posted February 14, 2010 Posted February 14, 2010 Do you have the X-52 plugged into a non powered USB hub? I've that problem with it before, since I play from a simpit. http://dcs-mercenaries.com/ USA Squad
Funkyjazz Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 I just decided to buy a X52 pro tomorrow. When i read this i start to shiver again. Is this only with Windows 7? (still using XP for the next 10 years) or is it the faulty Saitek software or just bad hardware... bfeld Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 Hi, maybe it's related to the problem in this thread: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=41480 After trying nearly everything as described there, I ordered a new one and it just works :)
Westy81 Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 Hi, I finally found part of the problem. I went throught all the assignments in the x52 assignment software. Found an key assigned on the forward movement of the throttle. Check your key assignments, it may be holding the key to your problem!
HitchHikingFlatlander Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 Yeah good to use the "Clear All" assignments in the X-52 category. Pre-programmed key assignments within the game can cause all kinds of problems, not to mention they're badly assigned to begin with..... http://dcs-mercenaries.com/ USA Squad
Lulac Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 OMG ! ! ! This is not happening . . . I just discovered that my X-52pro + pedals do not respond on any commands in game ! ! ! I found in profile editor, in testing window, that any assignment key do not respond in command ! ! ! I check in control panel and everything is OK with the controllers. It's strange, because till last night everything was OK (I'm running Win 7 64 bit and latest Saitek drivers) !? :helpsmilie: [sIGPIC]D:\avioni\razno\potpis 1 orao.jpg[/sIGPIC]
