Anyone else have an issue where the buttons on the X52 Pro stop responding? The stick and throttle still work but not the buttons. Sometimes I can Alt-Tab out of the game and back in and they will start working again. Other times I have to Alt-Tab out, clear the profile and reload it.

Never had that happen, but I have had the S-Video cable come unpluged in a dogfight..... :/

LOL! Bet THAT was inconvenient! :D

I don't have any such anecdotes about Saitek gear (my X45 is as stable/dodgy as it was within five months of purchase, but nothing has happened similar to what the OP describes), but I could relate how the stick on my Logitech Wingman Force just broke in two as I was playing Starlancer... Fail!

Happens sometimes, though it's very rare for me.

Seems to be a touch and go issue. I played last night and only one time the buttons stopped responded, then a minute later all my button presses came in at once, made flying a bit difficult.

It happens to me too! At least once in every mission.

My OS is Win7 Ultimate 32bit, Phenom X4 940, 4GB Ram, GTX 260 and trackir 4. Every game i play the buttons on my X52 PRO (latest driver and software) stop responding for a certain amount of time then all of a sudden, every button pressed while it was not responding start to send command in sequence. When I ALT-TAB and go to my joystick properties panel. Every buttons respond perfectly. Also it seems that its only in Blackshark. Tried different flying games and did not encountered this behaviour. I even tried to reinstall Blackshark, drivers, etc in every order possible. Help!!!

Make sure you don't have functions assigned to the buttons within the game and the Saitek software. Just a guess.

Hi, I finally found part of the problem. I went throught all the assignments in the x52 assignment software. Found an key assigned on the forward movement of the throttle. Check your key assignments, it may be holding the key to your problem!

OMG ! ! ! This is not happening . . .

I just discovered that my X-52pro + pedals do not respond on any commands in game ! ! ! I found in profile editor, in testing window, that any assignment key do not respond in command ! ! !

I check in control panel and everything is OK with the controllers.

It's strange, because till last night everything was OK (I'm running Win 7 64 bit and latest Saitek drivers) !?

I had windows update install a Saitek driver on me before and everything quit working....took me a week to figure out what happend. It wasn't the release driver either it was a slightly newer one....Try a system restore or check your updates and see if anything was done ?

I've been getting this problem in FC2... i've given up using the x52pro profile software.. which is a real shame.. as i like the LCD telling me what i'm pressing!
