NaturalPoint - Jason
Greetings everyone, It is my pleasure to announce that Lock On: Flaming Cliffs is now available for exclusive Pre-Order in the USA and Western Hemisphere at http://www.naturalpoint.com. We are excited for the opportunity to bring such a quality add-on to the other side of the Atlantic. Eagle Dynamincs and The Fighter Collection have given TrackIR users another great reason to be a member of the growing TrackIR community. This venture is a first for NaturalPoint and hopefully the start of a long term relationship with Eastern European simulation developers. We wish Eagle Dynamics all the best with further add-ons to this already awesome series. To reserve yourself a copy of the Lock On: Flaming Cliffs boxed version please visit our main page and click on the banner at the top. Or you can visit the Flaming Cliffs games page here http://www.naturalpoint.com/trackir/games/lockon11.html or our online catalog here http://www.naturalpoint.com/trackir/store/catalog.html to order. Once you secure payment a confirmation email will be sent confirming your pre-order. Then as soon as your copy is shipped in May you will receive another email containing the shipping information. We expect to be able to ship this item sometime in or around the first week of May. Initial quantities are limited so don't delay! Thanks for all your support of this venture and remember to Get the TrackIR Advantage! Starlight
This western CD version requires standard Starforce activation or has just a CD-check? Please, no guesses, I'd like to hear some words from those who really know this thing.

NaturalPoint - Jason
Everyone, EXTREMELY IMPORTANT!!!! If you pre-order a copy of Lock On: Flaming Cliffs and also order another item such as a TrackIR 3 or Vector Expansion the ENTIRE order will be shipped when the CD becomes available in May. If you want to purchase a TrackIR and/or Vector Expansion and don't want to wait 3 weeks for it, I strongly suggest you make 2 seperate purchases. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. If you have already placed such an order please contact me jason@naturalpoint.com and we will help fix the problem. chennuts
Jason, Will the boxed version you're selling be a stand alone game like the boxed version sold over seas (1.0 and 1.1 included in the box), or will it simply be the downloadable version in CD format? Also, what type of protection will the boxed version you're selling use? Will we be forced to use activations like the downloadable version, or will it be the more standard Starforce procedure where we simply have to keep the CD in our drives while we play? NaturalPoint - Jason
Guys, The boxed version we are selling is an add-on only. You must already own a copy of LOMAC 1.02 for it to work. With regards to the Copy Protection scheme used in the boxed version I direct you to the main page of this website http://www.LockOn.ru and please direct any further questions about the Copy Protection to Eagle Dynamics. Thanks, Jason http://www.naturalpoint.com and http://www.trackir.com

"You must already own a copy of LOMAC 1.00 or 1.01" It is not recommended you patch to 1.02 before installing 1.1 Flaming Cliffs

Ice
StarForce included? No, thanks... Speaking for myself and everyone who has Flaming Cliffs in the 169th Panthers. Starforce has been a seamless addition to the installation process. The sim works great, Eagle Dynamics have chosen a good product that is obviously very hard to crack going by all the noise made in the forum. The only criticism I have is that maybe ED could have worked on the payment issue a lot earlier than they did. But we all live and learn. No ones fault really. My phylosophy is: If there werent guys makin a big Hoohaa about Starforce it must not be doing its job.

"You must already own a copy of LOMAC 1.00 or 1.01" It is not recommended you patch to 1.02 before installing 1.1 Flaming Cliffs It makes no difference Ice. 1.00, 1.01, 1.02 - English, French or German, the 1.1 installer works with all :) - JJ. 1 JJ
Pilotasso
The sim works great, Eagle Dynamics have chosen a good product that is obviously very hard to crack going by all the noise made in the forum. No disrespect intended (nor ranting) but the "noise" is made up by people who got stuck with paypall, cant join a server, waits for 1 hour for the game to start, or has a DVD writer disabled or had 4 activations expended in 1 week(before ED finaly gave 11 more) etc etc. Just because you hadnt any problems with your hardware and 1.1 doesnt mean others dont. Please respect at least those that are having problems. thats all. ;) [sigpic]http://forums.eagle.ru/signaturepics/sigpic4448_29.gif[/sigpic] My PC specs below:Case: Corsair 400C PSU: SEASONIC SS-760XP2 760W Platinum CPU: AMD RYZEN 3900X (12C/24T) RAM: 32 GB 4266Mhz (two 2x8 kits) of trident Z RGB @3600Mhz CL 14 CR=1T MOBO: ASUS CROSSHAIR HERO VI AM4 GFX: GTX 1080Ti MSI Gaming X Cooler: NXZT Kraken X62 280mm AIO Storage: Samsung 960 EVO 1TB M.2+6GB WD 6Gb red HOTAS: Thrustmaster Warthog + CH pro pedals Monitor: Gigabyte AORUS AD27QD Freesync HDR400 1440P
Ice
There are different kinds of noise. There was plenty of "noise" even before FC was released. Also, One or two people had a minor issue with burner, 10 more come in and make noise saying "The sky is falling!!" who dont have the issue. The burner software being reinstalled again aslo fixed that issue from what i remember. Mountains out of molehills comes to mind.
Ice
OK thankyou for that info Alfa. As a rule with any complex sim it is usually best update from a fresh copy. If earlier patches are not required it would seem logical to not install them. However I'm sure you and your team tested this thoroughly.

Sardukar
I actually probably would have preferred to get the download version now, seeming to get FC from NP is gunna cost over AU$100! there has to be a cheaper postage service.

I can also confirm that none of our members had problems with Star Force. One of our members is highly suspicious of SF, however, we can not find much evidence of SF causing much problems. Eagle Dynamics indeed doing the right thing by implementing strong copy protection. BTW, big thanks to Natural Point for giving us oportunituy to by CD version of the FC. I checked the Pricing on the Natural Point website (just went through the whole filling out details to see how much total cost would be). The game is about $39US and postage is $39US aswell.
