Jetfighter series may not be a high fidelity sim. But I know I have spent hundreds if not thousands of hours flying jetfighter 3. Nothing beet the thrill of carrier landings. Time for me to dig out that disk and fly some F14s.

dunno if its been said in the 100 page thread yet but something like a turbo prop trainer with basic arming would be nice to add a different touch to the sim world, gives the new flyers a chance to learn the basic's without being overwhelmed ,something like a pc9 or a t-6. with shared cockpits for online training i think they would be rather popular. and i think it would be awesome to have a client flyable tanker.

ops i just seen the poll lol , in that case the super hornet. :P

Lightning?! Raptor?!! Are you dreaming guys? Be realistic, there is no chance to get the real specifications and flight manual for both of them in the next 20 years. Tomcat is a history now, so leave the History for the Maddox and BoB.

What about the time the pilot still had something to do and was in command, not the integrated chip? Why is noone suggesting the DCS: UAV Predator, I mean this is the future of air supremacy.

Imho a plane like the Starfighter F-104, Tiger F-5 or A-7 Corsair, MiG-21 would fit DCS best. Great planes with history, single seater, should be some information accessible, and human is still operator, pilot and decisive.

I agree, and at the risk of repeating myself the best candidates imo would be Buccanear, Jaguar or Harrier which has the added bonus of vtol for more of a challenge and fun :joystick:

I'll always be a fan of fighters but hopefully someday when more modules are available bigger aircraft may be available to make an amazing online experience.

These biggies could be C-130, C-17- KC-10 or any other transport/tanker aircraft.

It would be amazing for multi player as the fighter guys could fuel up by a real player controlled tanker.

Thats a tough one.

For me its between the F-18E superhornet and F35 JSF.

Both are grest dogfighters and equally great ground attack aircraft.

I think the F-18E just gets the vote from me. With an F35 sim there would be an awful lot of guess work involved as alot of systems are classified at the mo.

(obvious i know)!:)

Don't ask me for advice on these Two Subjects:

1.. How to Take Off in the Dora!

2.. How to Land the Dora!

This is just ridicules, do you REALLY think that accurate info about those 4.5th/5th gen fighters is to be found?! You gotta be kidding me.

You are not going to see a real study sim for those jets for a very VERY long time.

I'd be happy with F-16C Block 50/52 or better, the F/A-18C.

All right, MiG-29S then. And Su-25T

I think a MIG-29SMT would be more likely than either of those two.

You can pretty much forget about a 25T I believe. I have been wrong before of course ;)

Is the Su-25t even in existence?

I believe all 8 of them have been upgraded to some form of 25TM as an experiment, but again I could be wrong on parts of that statement. What the new equipment is is not really known, and Russia seems to prefer pressing ahead with the Su-25SM anyway.

In RuAF service? Nope. AFAIK, the last operational Su-25T was in the Lipetsk Combat Application Center, but it was damaged in the accident, taken place in December 15'2008, because of gear malfunction.

Su-25TM is a version of the export Su-39, that was just proposed to RuAF by "Sukhoi's Sturmoviki" company(which is the part of Aviation holding company 'Sukhoi') after the 888 war, so it doesn't exist for RuAF too.

look at Dead Rising 2 very very retarded game was fun for 15 secs

but it sells really well cause most people are retarded especially

here is the USA

as for the F-35 good when getting shot at I don't want to have to remember

That can't be right. YF22 took its maiden flight 5 years before the F/A18? And the evolved F22 only 2 years after? Wow. Took them 15 years to go from maiden flight to introduction. That is just slow.

They've mixed up the Hornet and the Super Hornet. For the last one these dates are correct. And yes, it was a very very long way - from the YF-22 to the Raptor. :)

F-22 is my favourite plane. So maybe ED should add F-22 to the list. I dont care when. After F-18E or not. I just want some modern F-22 simulations.

F-16 or F-18 are the most realistic variants for a next DCS considering how many countries use these aircraft and there's plenty of non-classified info available about them. I highly doubt we'll see a good F-22/F-35 sim for at least the next 20-30 years.

Personally I would also love to see DCS F-16.
