I need your help on this one.

The problem is this, first of all i dont have firewall enabled and i dont use a router, i have verizon dsl service in the US.

When i connect to lomac as a server my it shows my ip as 192.169.1.47 but my clients see this ip 68.239.243.66 and they cant connect. When i run comm propt and type ipconfig i see the 192.xx ip but when i go to http://www.whatsmyip.com or go to my modems website i see the 68.xxx as my ip. I tried changing the 192 ip to the 68.xxx manually in the TCP/IP and i can see it in lomac but it wont connect to internet. and when 192zz is in lomac i cant use the 68.xx to connect to my clients. I also called my isp and they told me that my pc's ip is the 68.xxx but i still have the 192.xxx as default to connect to internet.

PLEASE HELP ME OUT I WANT TO HOST!!!!!

Are you running through a network router? An IP address starting with 192 is an indicator that you are using a network.

If you are running through a router with a firewall then you will need to open up the port being used by Lock On.

Go to Lockon internet/network settings and take note on the port, by default is 10308, then authorize that same port on your firewall, sorry to add this redundant information to stromin's but for those who are novices this should become more clear. :)

amagad, please type "ipcoonfig /all" and post output here. You might have multiple logical NIC, and one of it has 192.x

btw: is it mistype or you really see 192.169.x? it should be 192.168.x for local network class C.

I think its simply the IP from ur network card,go into ur network option and right click the "LAN" connection, properties and uncheck the box where it says TCP/IP protocol. You dont need the 192.168.xxx.xxx Ip to go online, just disable it.If there are any problems after u can simple activate it again.
