White line while taxing

when im either on the runway or the flight line I get a white line on the lower right or left side of the cockpit. I searched the forum and found changing the graphic cfg. file will cure the problem. If this is the cure how do I open the graphic cfg. file? Do i have to down load a program to be able to open and change the Cfg. file? Thanks for any input

Probably near clipping in graphics.cfg. Put it at 0.1 and it should be gone.

As far as i know there are no problems with Windows 7 WordPad.

I edited some lines with WordPad and it works.

This went away for me when I updated the graphics drivers to nVidia's newest. well, almost went away, I have a very slight black thin line now that can only be seen if I look for it.

Cos it messes up codepages (utf, ansi...), which i s important for some special characters, spaces, tabs, line brakes and so on. It can render file useless.

Notepad2 should be good.

Regular Notepad breaks some of the code's you cannot see as text.

Notepad works in many cases - but you may suddenly become one of those who says "my sim just stopped working - I get an error when I do this & that".

Thats why we suggest using a compatible Editor such as Notepad++
