JG-1_Vogel Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 Hey, just had an amazing MP flight on my squads dedi. Would like to keep a track file so I can go through it and take screens etc. In SP it gives you an option to view a replay/track of the mission you just flew, but I got no such option after I disconnected from the server. Can anyone help me? Had so many close calls and a extremely lucky kill would like to keep it!

Scroll down and you'll see Clientmissiontrack or something to that effect with the date. File extension will be a .miz.trk. Just rename and delete the .miz and replay. Nate--IRL-- Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 Try to find LastMissionTrack.trk in the temp folder. Rename it to some thing else, DO NOT run the sim before you've done this. Then play the renamed TRK file in the sim. Nate Edit:- actually Viper is correct. Ka-50 AutoPilot/stabilisation system description and operation by IvanK- Essential Reading
Mustang Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 And don't forget, if you cannot see externals in your replays, give this app a try: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=53348 built for FC2.0, but pretty sure it works for DCS-BS just fine.
Moa Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 Not many people know it but it also appears the server also keeps tracks in the same folder as the mission IIRC. The track has the name of the mission and gets overwritten each time the mission is started - well, it appears this way although I haven't yet tried replaying the track to test this. Don't forget that lottu or Case's script can help get external views on your track: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=53348 [lottu] http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=53270 [Case's script]
JG-1_Vogel Posted July 2, 2010 Author Posted July 2, 2010 I got the track sorted guys thank you for the advice. Shame you can't fast forward and change playback aka F4 ACMI thing. Got to wait out the 30min odd transit from airfield to FEBA.
MTFDarkEagle Posted July 2, 2010 Posted July 2, 2010 you should be able to speed it up! Have a look in the controls pdf, I haven't got access to it at the moment, or I would look it up for you. But you certainly can speed it up. Lukas - "TIN TIN" - 9th Shrek Air Strike Squadron TIN TIN's Cockpit thread

Got to wait out the 30min odd transit from airfield to FEBA. Run the track again with TACview installed, that will produce an ACMI file that TACview can play. It's much better than the inbuilt track file for analysing a mission.
