I don't think that the devs should be left in the dark as to bugs, player's wishes, etc.

 

On the other hand, I don't think they should be frustrated by constant prodding either ... I'm pretty sure they do want to get all this right. Thre's a plan though and we all know that some things aren't going to be done (though insofar as this thread goes, no one's asked for new flyables yet, right? Or did I miss something ;) )

 

I'm sure that they'll look into the jamming/los/missile issues, as it's all related to the radar model anyway and they want to revamp it for 1.2 ... meantime they'll likely tweak and patch it to make things better in 1.1.

I was amazed by the reply to Coldcrew about the engine startup, flooding the engine after recover. Man, thats attention to detail, pity we can't quite set the idle detent yet! The sequel, there is hope yet. Great stuff Eagle Dynamics.

I am going to step back from my defensive posture on this one. You asked a legit question, and I think that the question got lost in the translation. I see you are from Germany and your first language is probably not English then. My apologies as this appears to be a language to message board translation problem. Not your fault and I think we should all rethink our responses to Groove.

He did ask if the tester did a 'lousy' job. I didn't learn that word until much later in ESL class. And using 'Thx' shows that he's been around the net a while.

I agree. Folks act like they are speaking to 'some Entity' called ED, when in reality, they are talking to hard working people whom, just like the rest of us, prefer to be talked to with some level of respect, I'm sure.

 

Hat's off to ED and the beta testers! I'm having great fun with the addon and though I look forward to any future patch, I will not be going back to 1.02.

Ok. I have to say that our betatesters did the great job to make this game much stable than it was before. The HUGE list of bugs was fixed. Of course anybody of us is perfect and some issues still to be. But the work was not stopped after the release.
