Supersheep Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 Then one of you is logged in, the other not.. Being logged in generates longer pages. 38 here. The PVC Pipe Joystick Stand How to thread
AlphaOneSix Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 Then one of you is logged in, the other not.. Being logged in generates longer pages. Well they both have to be logged in since they both posted a reply. Or are you saying that if you don't log in you can post to the forum anonymously under the name RIPTIDE? Anyway, the forum default is to display 10 posts per page, resulting in 38 pages. However, in the User CP under Edit Options, this can be set to 5, 10, 20, or 30 posts per page. So they are both logged in, but one has Posts per Page set to Default (10) while the other has changed theirs to 20 (resulting in only 19 pages of posts). This is obviously completely off-topic, but this thread outlived its usefulness long ago.
Supersheep Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 Or are you saying that if you don't log in you can post to the forum anonymously under the name RIPTIDE? No, I do not know how to pull off this feat, but possibly you/he/whoever read the thread w/o being logged in and hit the reply-button only after seeing the page counter - just like I do most of the time. Nothing magical here :) Super- The PVC Pipe Joystick Stand How to thread
Jona33 Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 Then one of you is logged in, the other not.. Being logged in generates longer pages. As far as I know you set the number of posts per page in your profile so if your not logged in you'll see default and if you've changed it once logging in you'll see longer pages. Always remember. I don't have a clue what I'm doing

joey45 Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 I love that film. The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance. RIPTIDE Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 I love how this thread is still open This thread demonstrates the reserved nature of the posters and civilized approach. Because, I can think of other games/sims/products where the OP would be Megatrolled by the members, the Mods, Developers and the owners. :D [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
