diveplane Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 just ordered win 7 ultimate , cant wait to get my hands on a copy at last. loved xp it has served me well for the last 10 years , and was and still is a great operating system . figured it was time to move on take the jump, many new games and hardware are taking advantage of 64bit support . so far i have herd great reports about win7, microsoft finally listened to the puplic this time. imo vista was a disaster for them, win 7 is xp on steroids . all ready for a10c mmmmmm. https://www.youtube.com/user/diveplane11 DCS Audio Modding.

happyslayeruk Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 Ah OK I misunderstood the question. I actually use a program called ultramon to control my multi-monitor setup as it has many more options than the standard MS ones. just checked and it has an option for wallpaper span across monitors. diveplane Posted September 27, 2010 Author Posted September 27, 2010 (edited) can you show how this software works, can you span 3d applications across? Edited September 27, 2010 by diveplane https://www.youtube.com/user/diveplane11 DCS Audio Modding.
happyslayeruk Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 I'm not actually on my home PC at the moment, and I've never had to span 3d apps across monitors but the ultramon site might be of help http://www.realtimesoft.com/ultramon/ Asus P8Z68 V-Pro/Gen3, Intel i5 2500K @4.5, 8GB DDR3 1600, EVGA GTX 670 FTW Signature 2, Creative SB X-Fi Titanium Pro, Saitek X52 Pro, TrackIR 5.
diveplane Posted September 27, 2010 Author Posted September 27, 2010 i tried the demo i dont think it does it either . maybe you can try it later. https://www.youtube.com/user/diveplane11 DCS Audio Modding.

happyslayeruk Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 Just checked ultramon, it does not have the 3D app spanning. The reason I got it was mainly for quick profile switching. It's so much quicker than using windows or nvidia options. (eg I can switch my HDTV to 2nd monitor and set to 24hz with one click from the task bar.) diveplane Posted September 30, 2010 Author Posted September 30, 2010 its no worries read some of the other threads on spanning across , thank god we can still get to do it in win7. more of a hassle without the options like xp though. https://www.youtube.com/user/diveplane11 DCS Audio Modding.
