Cowboy10uk Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 I just hope, they include track IR 3 in the update, I'm still waiting for the 5.1 update for the new software, that was meant to be coming out for 3, god knows how many months ago. I know it's an old model, but if it does the job why change it. Still not convinced, it's worth updating. Thanks for np, for taking the time to come on and answer our concerns though. 71st_Mastiff Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 Done! Lack of Track IR is a show stopper for me moving to a 64bit OS wont be that hard, as when you install the 32bit dll's it auto-installs the 64bit too. so you will be ready when its out. The 64 bit system is virtually the same I just ran both of them and all systems are working even the GUI control options were already set from the 32 bit GUI settings. so one in the same. "any failure you meet, is never a defeat; merely a set up for a greater come back", W Forbes. I am running win7 64 bit, DCS:W 32bit, TIR 32bit all running sweet together. Cheers, DT Junior Member for over 6 years. Difference between Ordinance and Ordnance. My X-52 Pro Profile. wasserfall Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 Trackir On my system the 64bit version runs more smooth and doesn't crash/freeze as much as the 32bit version So i would be very much pleased if the Trackir64 bit software will be released soon. slamraamproductions Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 Well I dont know what is going on here exactly, but last week I changed from xp 32bit to w7 64 bit ultimate. Of course I had to reinstall Trackir software, so I downloaded it from the naturalpoint site and my Trackir4 was working like it always did. I also have the software running like it always did. I can create profiles etc. I can't remember anything of clicking 32b or 64b options, I just installed it and it worked. <==DCS Flaming Cliffs 3: Operation Grand Slam <==Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 2 Tribute

Yeah - but if you attempt to run a 64-bit application that utilizes TrackIr (ie DCS:A10C 64-bit) your TrackIr will not work. Try it and see :) Novice or Veteran looking for an alternative MP career?
