Friends, we're need your help:

For catch and fix the server crash bug is necessary to more than 6 players make a war on the debug LockOn server.

The mission on this server is from Dreyou server , so most of you know what to do. Fly as usual, make a war! If server is suddenly will die - it is mean that we have reach our target and there will be no such bug after general patch.

We're hope on your help.

Well Han,

 

Here's my first report. I connected 128/128, was able to join, flew a bit, then StrikeMax. Joined in on the opposite side, we flew 1 round. The my wingman 169th_Siren tried to join in, server running, he was not able to join in the action, once clicking on fly, it loaded up, then got stuck on the map view. But he was clearly there in the roster. So I exited to try and replicate it, true enough. I was no longer able to get back in my bird. I've tried, a different plane, yield no better results. Able to join the room, select the plane, click fly, loads up. then I got stuck in Map view f-10, but I was able to eject?? But since, recovery is not enable, I’m not able to recover.

 

We have notice some servers, once its been running for a while. With respawn enable, when getting stuck in either tower view or map view(Same multiplayer bug) Ejecting your bird then recover, you where able to get back in even if you respawned in a fire inferno due that the your previous bird was sitting on tarmac at the ejection.

 

But you where able to get back in the cockpit. But since recovery is not enable on Dreyou server, Then NO one can jump back in.

 

Here's your Bug.

I hope you understand my limited English since I’m French :icon_redf (But proud to be :D )

and the message gets across. Hope this help in Isolating and resolving it.

But be aware that issue was present even before 1.1

It was there with 1.02 also. Thought it was already reported, if not, then here you go...

OK something odd here, in HL Dreyou server is 194.154.90.3 not 81.195.164.27, ...

 

Alright let me try this again on 81.195.164.27. But remember whats been posted up is still true about this bug.

It works ok, but the recovery was turnned off. I had a ping of 400 and still was able to fly ok with other players at lower ping of 150. Had just the one crash and that was after I was shot down I clicked Fly in the debriefing page.

An idea for v1.2 if you put dedicated server on it. Can we be able to setup our own missions, waypoints, loads and skins. In missions I mean with regard the war in which is currently active on that particular server. eg on HL I join up with the server, I select coalition and then pick an aircraft(all flyables should be available however it is 1 slot out of 32 total) After picking my aircraft I can either pick a mission thats already available or create my own and setup my own waypoints. After this I can load the aircraft so long as the load is realistic.

Just a thought

Thats not a bad suggestion SUB17. It would be just nice if that host could on the fly change the mission. Without exiting.

 

I was on the server earlier, I will check here when I am done posting.

 

But previously the pings were all <300, but it was hard to even lock on someone the lag was bad. Planes were bouncing everywhere.

 

Gonna test around some network settings.

There were a total of 5 players while I was flying. I never saw the two that were in 25-Ts but of the remaining planes there was too much warping to stay. All our pings were around 180. One of the planes reported no warping, but both of the others saw him lag. Not much help, I know, but that's my report.

Joint run:

Server will be started today, 20 may (friday) at 8:00 PM GMT.

THere will be Dreyou mission hosted with full-real difficulty settings.

Sorry for some lags, it is still bebug server. Also we have used more powerfull PC, so it's must partialy solve this problem.

The lagging is normal because the server is running in debug mode. Please bear with it and continue the stress test.
