Hi all,

I was remembering back to the squadron list on lo-mac.com, and wondering if it might be possible for Eagle to post something similar on their lockon.ru site? It could be a good way to get people involved in online flying.

Anyone think this is worth doing?

Yeah, definately a good idea it would be good to see how many squadrons use 1.02 and 1.1 as well. Hopefully everyone will upgrade to 1.1 sooner or later.

Greetings from VVS 504th Red Hammers!

CO: Hi-Hat

An UK based squadron with pilots mainly from europe, but also from US

http://www.vvs504.co.uk

Squadron was based few months before lock-on was released. Right from the start it was decided that we fly only russian aircraft, mainly Su-25 and MiG-29s. As time passed by, we adopted the Su-27, and of course the new Su-25T. Our squardon has always been quite small compared to others, but what we loose in quanity, we make up with quality:) We also have a 10mb dedicated server, which is sometimes run on HL, but it's mainly for our own use.

Check our site, say hi at the forums, and if you like to fly russian AC, fill out send us a recruitment mail and we'll get in touch!

Hi from SVBS Squadron

CO: Hitman IF

http://svbs.co.uk -- Forums

We started out as a F22 ADF/TAW squad for Scotland, but soon grew to be a UK based international squad. We're currently have ADF/TAW, Eurofighter Typhoon and Lock On sections. We recruit all abilities and provide contact facilities (ICQ list & forums), a ladder system and we'll be happy to arrange some training for those who want it. We're quite relaxed about how often you want to play. We don't care which aircraft you fly, so long as you're having fun!

Cool, glad to see some good lo-mac buddies of ours posting away, and not falling into oblivion :)

Some details of our squadron:

Name: [moose]squadron

Co: [moose]Tyler-Durden

Site: http://moosesquadron.mine.nu

IRC: #moose on Quakenet server

We usually fly around 3-4 times a week, in a very challenging Team Academy orientation. We prefer hard teamwork, as opposed to solo fighting, and reward good co-operation with team mates. We currently fly all planes, with all teams passing through "Peregrine" (Air to Air Training), before going onto a wing of thier choice, "Heron" (carrier ops), or "Kestrel" (Ground Pounders). The very top of the tree at the moment is: "[moose]" (The Aerobatics Group).

Normally flights are around the 20:00 CET timezone, with further matches against other squadrons happening when they do.

We've taken many pilots from those that cannot start engines, to those that have risen to command ranks in a few weeks. All are taught and guided in areas they want, and feel least confident in. The entire squadron is taught on an individual needs basis.

Just to add, we've been around from the very start, formed November 2003 when 1.00 was all but a twinkle.

[moose]Squadron is also part of a bigger clan, [moose], which plays just about anything team orientated over the internet. Lots of choice if you are bored.

Hope you are all well (my first post on the .ru forums) ;) and look forward to arranging some action packed squadron matches with you all soon, with a re-vamped 1.1 [moose]squadron
