One thing I noticed in A10 is that the carrier is modeled quite well for a sim that is not carrier based. I was surprised to see planes catching wires and stopping in a very realistic manner. I'd love to see the next one be an F-18

The F15 is pretty closely tasked with the A-10.. or

F-22.jpg

It's a good thing that this is Early Access and we've all volunteered to help test and enhance this work in progress... despite the frustrations inherent in the task with even the simplest of software... otherwise people might not understand that this incredibly complex unfinished module is unfinished. /light-hearted sarcasm

As I've mentioned in a different thread,

For ED it's almost a no brainer, producing an F-16 module will put the final stamp on the death of Falcon4 on all of its variations. A mass hoarding of the Viper community will commence bringing not only many more faces but alot of money. Even the most dedicated F4 player acknowledges the high fidelity of the DCS series (Ka-50 & A-10) and this is the exact thing they are looking for. Some of them are already here for the A-10.

I might be wrong but this is just my opinion. I wouldn't mind having the F-16, F-15, F-18 or even an F-4 or an F-14. Or any other fixed wing for that matter! ED continues to amaze me with their products and I will gladly spend my money on them! :)

My money is on the Mud Hen! the current model in DCS A10 is EXTREMELY detailed. Why would the poly count be so high for something that is not flyable and for the most part is viewed in game at a very far distance? JMHO.

Same thing was said of the F-18 in FC.

I would really like an F-14 or and F-18 - at first I thought carrier ops wouldn't suit DCS but I've really came round to the idea.

Anything fighter-esque is great for me. I've been wanting to blast the Top Gun anthem whilst me and a mate pretend we're "Iceman" and "Maverick" for quite some time.

Here's hoping I don't get stuck in anyone's jet wash, enter a flat spin and break my copilots neck on the canopy (wtf?) when I eject!

Just a reminder of what Wags said way back when...the next american aircraft down the list is the F-15. I'm ready for a DCS detailed F-16 myself.

"As for what happens after Black Shark, the team has several aircraft modules currently in development (this could include development of 6 DOF cockpits, avionics or flight dynamics). While the A-10A Suite 2 module will still likely follow the Black Shark, the following aircraft are also now planned for DCS in development at one stage or another:

1- A-10A Suite 2 (latest version of A-10A in active use)

2- A-10C Suite 3 (we now able to develop an entertainment version of the simulation we developed for them. We are very happy and excited about this).

3- AH-64A Blk. 49A

4- Su-27

5- F-15C

6- Mi-24V

7- F-16C

8- MiG-29A

Naturally, release of aircraft like the Su-27 and F-15C would coincide with integration of advanced flight model for missiles, advanced seeker logic and advanced air-to-air radar logic and modeling."

This list is out-dated.

Where is the updated list?

So much secrecy de-hypes me :(

I'll search at wikileaks cables database then :D

The list is too fluid. Anything I might tell you now will probably change by the time the next module is in production. That's assuming I know anything at all! :P

Do you have the new one? :D

Come on ED you can tell us, it's not like anyone else is going to complete or even be able to compete with another rival aircraft sim that's up to DCS standards before you can get your product out the door, right? I do have to admit I am rather curious.

Same thing was said of the F-18 in FC.

Very true it was!

But an E will satisfy a lot of demands. Air to Air, Air to Ground, and the possibility of two players to one aircraft in Multiplayer. That last option alone would put the community through the roof! You would have guys creating teams and having contest and what not. The camaraderie would be off the charts. It would really sell!

Just thinking outloud GG! ;)

Please say how many pylons does it have :D

Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make... HISTORY! :D | Also to be remembered: FRENCH TANKS HAVE ONE GEAR FORWARD AND FIVE BACKWARD :D
