sounded American-

 

According to this it's a KC_10

The 'sniper' call sign has so many aircraft using it, but its probably those F16's from Germany.

It's the commanders trying to troll you, "Viper" is actually the A-10C flight's name.

 

No its "WEASEL" forgot to add on the callsign list.

the rotors as Billington directs a U.S. Air Force HH-60G Pave Hawk from the 56th Rescue

Squadron while it takes off from amphibious transport dock USS Ponce (LPD 15) during

evening training operations on March 25, 2011. Elements of the 56th Rescue Squadron, which

is based out of RAF Lakenheath, England, embarked aboard Ponce to provide search and

rescue coverage for pilots enforcing the no-fly zone over Libya. Ponce is part of Kearsarge

Amphibious Ready Group, supporting maritime security operations and theater security

An additional one is "Rocky", I heard them use it this morning.

 

Possible A-10's too.....sometimes controller asks for aircraft type (listen carefully), when fighters switch from tactical too IFR plan.

4 april : air interdiction with the Qatari , CAS and reconnaissance with C-135 , E3F and E2C . an armored vehicle has been destroyed

5 april : Reco , air interdiction (around Ajdabyah et Misratah) with the Qatari and SEAD (A2G) with E3F , C-135 , E2C , along with US KC-135 and UK AWACS . french struck two SAM sites , one at Zlitan south and the other 100 km south or Syrte

7 april : same as above air interdiction , CAS , refueling , AWACS ... since the begining of the month France made :

-120 air interdiction missions + 22 from Souda

-24 reco missions

-13 alert sorties

-50 refueling missions

were performed strikes against : 1 tank , 5 armored vehicles , 3 military vehicles (tanks carrying trucks ...) and two SAM sites

29 march evening - 30 march : strike over a military depot at 30 km south of Tripoli (M2000D + super-etendard SEM covered by an E2C) and over a SAM site at 20 km south of Syrthe (Rafale and super-etendard covered by Rafale , E3-F and E2C) , reco (Rafale M) , air interdiction (from Souda 2 french M2000 + 4 Qatari M2000) and refueling (C-135)

28 march evening - 29 march : strike over an ammunitions depot 100 km south of Tripoli (Rafale M , super-etendard SEM and M2000D covered by Rafale and an E2C) , strike over a SAM site 100 km south-west of Tripoli (Rafale and Super-etendard covered by an E3F) , reco (Rafale and F1CR) and refueling (C-135)

27 march : the french attacked an airfield destroying 5 Galeb and 2 Mi-35 which were preparing for mission see here

 

25 march evening - 26 march : ground attack , reco , air interdiction (with the Qatari) , refueling and AWACS . were used almost all planes types we usually see . the CDG was resupplied by the Meuse too
