STP Dragon Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 Hi guys, Is anybody using the Force Correlate Modus of the MAV-H ? I tried to use it but I didn't get it to work... Like I understand it: You have to set the Boat-Switch to the center position. Then you have to slew the MAV and press TMS short after to ground stabilize it. The tracking gate have to fully collapse and I should be able to fire it up. ... but the tracking gate woun't fully collapse... Any idea what I'm doing wrong? :helpsmilie: Homepage: Spare-Time-Pilots DCS:BlackShark v1.0.2: BLINDSPOTs EditorMod DRAGONs ArmA2-Sounds DRAGONs BS1 TRAININGPACK DRAGONs MISSIONPACK [bS & FC2] DCS:World: TM WARTHOG PROFIL FOR BS2 DRAGONs BS2_TRAININGPACK DRAGONs TRAININGPACK DRAGONs MISSIONPACK
ToWcH Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 I think it only works for the G and K variants. I must also add that force correlation is insanely hard if not impossible to use. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Mule Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 (edited) I did use the force correlation in the beta versions and found it to be a fantastic tool to get mavs exactly where you want them. So if i targeted a building for instance i could choose a specific window or door. Sorry Dragon i know this doesn't help you out(i can't remember how i did it there is a section in the manual that explains it all) but when you get it sorted it's a fantastic way to use mavs. As for it being insanely hard to use i disagree, it was very easy to use. I don't think anything in the A10 is insanely hard to do that's just counter intuitive to the way everything was designed for the pilot. Something i find that helped me a lot was to set the slew speed of the mavs to 2. Edited March 19, 2011 by Mule Fighter Pilot Podcast.

Quote of Manual Page 565: If you need to attack a specific part of a large object (such as a particular window in an office building), you can use force correlate mode with AGM/TGM-65H, AGM/TGM-G, AGM-65K, and CATM-65K. This mode allows the seeker to create a basic picture of the scene and home in on one specified area of that scene.
