Flamin_Squirrel Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 Hi guys. Had my throttle die (again) today. Updated the firmware and reinstalled the drivers, which brought it back to life... at least so I thought. All buttons work, but none of the axis do. Anyone else had this problem?
Druid_ Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 (edited) I had the DMS button on mine die, I took it apart and noticed a single wire connection had broken. I resoldered it and it works fine now. You may have a similar problem. If you don't want to take it apart then you'll have to return it. Given how fine the wires are and how tightly packed everything is in the WHog sticks I'm surprised this doesn't happen more often. Flamin_Squirrel Posted April 8, 2011 Author Posted April 8, 2011 Opened it up, no obvious broken wires. I'm not sure it's a hardware problem. Too much of a co-incidence this happened straight after updating the firmware.
Druid_ Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 Is the old firmware available? If it is will it let you flash an older version? If answer to either is no then sounds like you are in the hands of TM Support I'm afraid. Good luck. i7-7700K : 16Gb DDR4 2800 Mhz : Asus Mobo : 2TB HDD : Intel 520 SSD 240gb : RTX 2080ti: Win10 64pro : Dx10 : TrackiR4 : TM Warthog : ASUS ROG SWIFT PG348Q
