luza Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 Great app! Would love an update since it is missing a few airfields (Kolhki anyway) And an RWR threat secrion would be bad ass! [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Midwestboi Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 I take it the developer is no longer updating this app; his last log-in here was in April. A shame really, this app has a LOT of potential and I am sure there are members who would be willing to pay for an even more polished version, I know I would. I guess until that happens, I'll just have to keep creating my own pdf files for use on the iPad. TigersharkBAS Posted August 6, 2012 Posted August 6, 2012 Quick update on the progress of DCS: CoPilot. It will enable custom checklists and also will have future support for Mustang, Blackshark, etc. We are building it from the ground up to allow extra modules to be plugged in as new aircraft are released for DCS World. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=1524625&posted=1#post1524625 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Creator of: F-18C VFA-195 "Dambusters" 1998 CAG Livery https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=213788 F-18C VFA-195 "Dambusters" July 2001 CAG Livery https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=215950 Pilot avatars for DCS Logbook https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=221160 How to make a DCS A-10C Panel http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=65998

Hi all, I really wish I had the time to continue work on the app. I've learned so much about developing apps on my projects since and think I could really improve and expand on these apps in a great way. I just am so busy with work and a couple work related apps that actually help pay for my time working on them that I just don't have the time right now to work on a community app. I know some people have asked for updates and maybe even releasing the source code, but honestly, the code is so shoddy (yes, I said it!) that I'd be embarrassed to release it! But I'm still here and check in occasionally, and hopefully I'll be able to get my hands back into it sometime in the near future. Sorry to all that wish I update it soon and thanks again for all the great comments! Cheers! -Sickdog TM Warthog, TPR, TM MFDs, Pimax Crystal, AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D. Zomba Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 (edited) RE:iWarthog Um, yeah...I paid $50 to this guy on initial release as he was asking for donations to encourage him to keep it up and to fix the bugs in it. The app was never updated again and became abandonware. Edited February 6, 2013 by Zomba I don't test for bugs, but when I do I do it in production.

SuperMarioMonti Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 There is already another program called "DCS Manager"(Android version), which also includes checklists for the KA-50 and airport approach charts. Its very useful and all procedures are working, expect of the missing fuel pumps on startup. At the moment i can't remember the name of the iOS version. It was released quiet a long time ago. The app was never updated again and became abandonware. Zomba, I did appreciate the very generous donation, I can say nobody else donated as much as you. I never asked for that much, I was happy with a couple bucks here and there when I was working on it. I actually put a lot of time in it, despite not being a polished app... I'm also not a professional programmer (this was my first attempt at an app), I'm a professional pilot to be quite honest. I'd be more than happy to send your donation back to you if you feel that way. What can I say, I made no promises to update this app forever, I have a busy job and haven't even been able to play DCS in forever. PM me if you want your donation back. Britchot Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 I still use some of the airfield databases on this app and I certainly appreciate the effort that went into creating it. If it is no longer updated due to developer unavailability (believe me, I understand), would it be possible to remove the sticky designation of this thread in order to limit new users that could become frustrated with the outdated nature of this app? Sickdog Posted March 4, 2013 Author Posted March 4, 2013 Just a quick note to let you all know that I went through and updated the app this morning. i didn't realize it had been crashing on everyone since iOS 5 came out... oops. So now it's iOS 5 and 6 compatible and shouldn't be crashing anymore. Sorry for the long wait, my sincere apologies. The update has to be reviewed by Apple first and will most likely be released in the next week or two for both the iPad and iPhone versions. Thomasew Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 Hi Sickdog, Just downloaded this, .. and it is an impressive piece of work .. :) I do have a couple of problems however .. , .. primarily with the Checklists. 1. The 'Back' and 'Forward' arrows do not seem to function correctly, as 'Forward' doesn't seem to work at all, and, at times, seems to work as 'Back', .. similarly, but not to the same extent with 'Back' .. consequently I have to swipe left and right to scroll thru the screens. 2. Weapons: I cannot get to the 3rd screen (Weapon Delivery) at all, .. either via the 'Back' and 'Forward', .. or by swiping. I can sort of drag it left a bit, .. but, as soon as I take my finger off the screen .. it snaps back and disappears. Other than that, it looks great. Haven't played DCS in a long time .. but, your app will make an invaluable aid and tool. :) Thanks for all your great work. BTW, .. I'm running on an iPad 4, with IOS 6.1.3 Thanks and Regards Tom He Who Will Not Risk Cannot Win

JahManRed Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 Hello, are there any plans of bringing the app out to Android users ? You can get DCS manager from the play store. It has checklists and airfield maps and charts. It does not integrate into dcs. Their is nothing on android that links up to you dcs game itself. The only update it has had of late is that it now has ads, so I have stopped using it.
KewinSawicki Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 Yeah, its not much of use anymore to me. 'Fear the strike'
Daz85UK Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Got this app yesterday, one word...Excellent! Although I couldnt find Kutaisi in the airbase list Youtube Channel || Twitch
Sickdog Posted May 30, 2013 Author Posted May 30, 2013 Thanks Daz85UK, I appreciate the compliment! Funny, I think I'm capable of producing a much better app now, I've learned a lot about programming and iOS since making this app (it was my first app actually), but unfortunately I just don't have the time to devote enhancements to it right now. I haven't even had the time to play DCS in months! But I haven't given up on it, I do hope to make some enhancements and corrections some day... :| TM Warthog, TPR, TM MFDs, Pimax Crystal, AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D.
