Well, Pit shadows, and HDR are disabled by default for 32bit systems.

You´ll also have problems with the textures, which might be sowhn pretty blurrie, so that you can´t identify certain panels, indicators and switches in the Cockpit.

So if you´ve got the possibility...get a Win7 64 Bit OS..if not...as already mentioned, the game is playable, but you wont have quite fun with it.

It should run, but you might have issues. If you do have issues, the fix is in my signature.

I still didn't get an answer to why I can't install the 32bit version on my 64bit OS, as I asked on this thread:

Not sure. But I think you loose the mirrors and reflections in the cockpit also.

It's never a 'Right' or 'Wrong' scenario.

It's definitely not recommended, but that does not mean that it cannot be done. Together with the various tweaks to enable it to run without hassle on 32-bit systems, there are also various default restrictions such as Textures, Scenes and others IIRC.

At the end of the day it depends on each individual system - there is unfortunately no hard and fast rule.
