I just got back from reading the Fn manual on how to tighten the rope holding the instrument panel down. I right option mouse click it, but nothing. The ends are starting to fray. :bounce:

Where does it mention a rope in the manual? If you mean the rope that wraps around the top of the panel I don't think you can tighten it, it's just for misc. charts and maps.

Thanks Castle. I knew I wasn't wastin' my time. It's a bungie not a rope. Is that on all Hogs or a throw back to the A version?

^^ he was pulling your leg.

You could probably find them in most aircrafts.

The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.

So many of you guys know EVERYTHING about these aircraft in the sims. My experience was A-10 Cuba - wasn't that the Amiga? So when I saw the rope, I was scratching my head. I had no idea it was for charts. But I had the urge to untie it and tidy up a bit. I think that goes with the scratches and scuffs modeled in the textures.

Well I know about te A-10 because I've worked her on and off for over 15 years. Both active duty (A models) and reserves (C models). I've also worked F-15s A thru E models at depot and the reserves.

I got F-111's, F-4 Wild Weasel's (These two rather tell my age:lol:), and F-16's covered...

Never work them but I grew up around 111s my entire life. Was born at Upper Heyford, lived at Plattsburgh AFB more times than I can count and was living at RAF Lakenheath about 2 years before the 15E transition. Even got to fly the 111 full motion simulator at Plattsburgh a couple times as a kid. Dad was active duty USAF fire department.

Very Cool... I was at RAF Lakenheath for 2 years back in the 80's.

dbeaty, just noticed the camera in your avatar image...we have a V14HD that we sometimes mount on one of our Bell 412s. Nice camera.

Yeah Alpha That pic is a V14 Cineflex active stabilized camera system I sometimes use on a Bell 206 ( I do filming not flying). Good example of military tech reaching into the civilian sector. I think it uses the same R&D as the TGP. I know the system can't be taken into certain countries or exported!
