fzfq3m Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 I just bought a A-10C copy today just because I can't wait anymore to star playing the Hog... I bought it directly from ED's page because, as many of you, I think we need to support this games series.... and altough I haven't played the A-10C yet my experience with the shark and all the videos about the A-10C available in youtube tells me that this DCS module worth every cent... so much that as soon as I can I'll buying the boxed version too.... LostOblivion Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 I agree, with the DCS series evolving thanks to the good efforts from the devs of ED, modern sim combat looks very promising! :) I can't wait for the next module to be ready, and I'm looking forward to not only aircraft being modeled very well, but also the general aspects of the engine, like JTAC working properly, possibility to seamlessly contact ground forces if needed, ATC working like it should in real life AFBs, emergency landing reguests, chatter with the boom operator in AAR, implementation of good carrier ops (hopefully with the next module should F-18 be the choice), better animated explosions and vehicle reaction to destruction (now they all just burn for 5 secs, then blow up). The list goes on, and it looks like a lot of the community mentioned wishes are always considered, which is great! :) Good going, ED! Thanks for giving us this great series! Nice plane on that gun... gmohr Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 Couldn't agree more. I spent most of the last decade watching (from afar) the decline of flight simming in general. Things are lookning much brighter these days, and ED is a huge reason for that. Thanks guys! Well, I was surprised when Microsoft shut down the FS franchise leaving his entire community wondering: Now what?. (Apparently a new version is being developed by MS Game Studio called just MS Flight) DCS has so much potential...:D Compuer Specs Intel Core i7 920 D0 @2.6Ghz Asus P6T7 WS rev2 6GB Corsair Dominator GT CMG6GX3M3A2000C8 2xHP 300GB 10K SAS RAID 1 Corsair AX1200 Nvidia Geforce GTX 580 3GB Water Cooling Specs: Koolance CPU-360 Koolance ASP6T7WS 2xSwiftech MCP655 with EK D5 Dual Top 1xBlack Ice GT S 360 XFlow 1xPhobya Xtreme 400 Tubing:Tygon 2001 1/2" 2xBitfenix Spectre Pro 230mm Swiftech MCres Rev1
