Yeah.. in NYC he would probably call the FBI on you for setting up some kind of secret pilot training.

I'm waiting for a Martin Baker seat...

The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.

Hi there,

I don't know if those who have requested a quote from Fain.com (Goodrich ACES II replicas) have received a reply so far. I received one today but my request was posted more than one month ago. At least I was glad my curiosity was satisfied but was nevertheless a bit disapointed. The answer I got was indicating prices ranging from $18000 up to $45000 for the lowest level replica and the highest one respectively. I don't speak about the export license from the US State Department (I deeply understand that but how much could that cost ?)

Now I really think I have to start something by myself or ask Flim for this lovely seat (I love your mini-pit Flim !!)

Asus P8Z68 Deluxe, Intel Core i7-2600K (3.4 GHz), Corsair Vengeance 2x4096 Mo DDR3 1866 MHz, SSD 120 Go Vertex 2, EVGA GeForce GTX 970 FTW ACX 2.0 4Go (04G-P4-2978-KR), TM HOTAS Warthog #03797 (MB replaced), Saitek Combat Pro Rudder, TrackIR 5, TM Cougar MFDs with Lilliput 8" UM 80

Low Fi Seat

Hi - I too am looking for a ACES II seat to put into a very low fidelity simulator. The seats at Fain are more than I need. Has anyone had any luck finding a very low fidelity (more gaming quality) seat?
