Spudman Posted July 30, 2011 Posted July 30, 2011 To whom it may concern; I'd just like to say from one "Hog lover" to a bunch of others, thanks for an amazing sim. DCS A-10 has got to be the most incredible flight sim. that I've ever seen. Thank you to the team that made this thing happen. You guys out did yourselves on this one. When I heard that this sim was coming out and saw screen shots and gameplay footage of it for the first time I was pumped. I fell in love with the "Hawg" when I saw it for the first time at my first airshow in 1983. Next to the P-51, the A-10 is and always will be my favorite bird. I love flying it. Great job and thanks again.
Bulletstop Posted July 30, 2011 Posted July 30, 2011 Yup ED did an outstanding job on this sim. Bullet I7 4790K running at 4390 with a gigabyte board with 16 gigs of ram with an Asus gtx 660-ti and 2 tb of hard drive space on 2 wd hard drives. A X-65F Hotas with trackir4 and pro combat peddles. Harzach Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 Outstanding sim and equally outstanding community. I bought DCS A-10C on a whim and could not be happier!
Pushntin Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 A-10 Crewchief to ED I've spent 3 years crewing A-10's; even had the opportunity to run the engines for ground ops cks. As soon as I loaded this A-10C simulator, I felt right at home, from turning the battery on; starting up the APU, #1 and #2. I felt guilty not being able to do an intake inspection before starting the engines, minor drawback. ED within the first few minutes of the familiarization tutorial, you've exceeded my expectations. The in-game instruction was accurate and detailed. I couldn't help but get ahead of the instructor. Every switch and knob works and the details are so finely accurate! This A-10 simulator is the most realistic and detailed A-10 simulator I've seen thus far. If you're a fan of the A-10 and you're looking for a simulator that's not just another A-10 simulator, this is the simulator you should get! Kudos A-10 Crewchief SP 81-0954
