chaotikchiken Posted October 26, 2012 Posted October 26, 2012 That crossed my mind but, if it is, I don't think I want to know the price. ;) No you don't :smilewink: I'm currently working on getting that option available for those who do want it, but for anyone with doubts about b/w images should just see the earlier pictures. Pictures of the MFCD's and HUD come out crystal clear. 2 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Old System Specs: OS: Windows 7 Professional x64 CPU: AMD Pnehom II x6 1090T MOBO: Asus M4A88TD-V GPU: EVGA 01G-P3-1371-AR GeForce GTX 460 RAM: G.Skill Ripjaw 8GB DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) HDD: Hitachi GST Deskstar 7K3000 2TB PSU: Corsair CMPSU-750TX Case: Cooler Master HAF 932 Monitor: Gateway FHD2400 24" (1920x1200) Mouse: Logitech G9x Extras: LG WH10LS30 BD Burner Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO Sharkoon SR 5.1 Surround Headset Thrustmaster T1600 Joystick

Falco77 Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 Would have preferred spiral bound (lays flat better) but at $30 I really can't complain. Ordered.
Hogwash Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 Which one is the most up to date? http://www.lulu.com/shop/digital-combat-simulator/a-10c-manual/paperback/product-17165999.html or http://www.lulu.com/shop/eagle-dynamics/dcs-a-10c-warthog-manual/paperback/product-20469424.html I need it for 1.1.1.1 :)
cichlidfan Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 The second link is the most current manual. It is the same one currently delivered. ASUS ROG Maximus VIII Hero, i7-6700K, Noctua NH-D14 Cooler, Crucial 32GB DDR4 2133, Samsung 950 Pro NVMe 256GB, Samsung EVO 250GB & 500GB SSD, 2TB Caviar Black, Zotac GTX 1080 AMP! Extreme 8GB, Corsair HX1000i, Phillips BDM4065UC 40" 4k monitor, VX2258 TouchScreen, TIR 5 w/ProClip, TM Warthog, VKB Gladiator Pro, Saitek X56, et. al., MFG Crosswind Pedals #1199, VolairSim Pit, Rift CV1
Hogwash Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 Ok, thanks. I guess there's not much difference between 1.1.1.1 and the latest version anyway in terms of the manual?
cichlidfan Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 Ok, thanks. I guess there's not much difference between 1.1.1.1 and the latest version anyway in terms of the manual? The differences are corrections in the manual text. For the purposes of the sim it should make no difference if you are running v1.1.1.1 or v1.2.1 since they have not changed any of the actual aircraft functions. If you take a peak at this thread, there's a few documents showcasing the changes from version to version. GregP Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 Yup, just got mine today too -- I couldn't resist, even though I printed a spiral-bound B&W version a year ago and then a full-color binder-bound version at work a few months ago. :) But having it bound in a neat book format, with high-quality B&W, really is something else. Looks and feel great. Fantastic job, chaotikchiken!

Cookie Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 The mailman just rang and handed me a nice, heavy package. ;) Gotta say that manual is really sweet, couldn´t be happier. Very good value for the money. Thanks for making this possible, Chaotikchiken! P.S. The only weird thing is - according to the invoice the manual was printed in France, and it took almost three weeks to get here. Printing itself was very quick, just two days after the order, but the delivery... I understand that this is out of Lulu´s control, but I really wonder what went wrong when a simple package takes three weeks from France to here. Especially since we have come to be used to overnight deliveries anywhere within mainland Europe. Oh well, it did get here eventually and now I´m a happy camper! :) - Two miles of road lead nowhere, two miles of runway lead everywhere - Click here for system specs
