Also does it happen if only using one screen? spiral Posted October 6, 2011 Author Share Posted October 6, 2011 for me, i tried with V-sync, just had a green screen, set it back to off, and reset the AA settings back to box setting, will try playing in windowed mode if this doesn't work (i don't think it will work but i'll give it a shot anyway). spiral Posted October 6, 2011 Author Share Posted October 6, 2011 had it again with the box settings. twice in the same mission one at the start of the mission, when i appeared in cockpit and another when i started looking for targets with the TGP. i wonder if it isn't a LOD problem... Schnarre Aggro Posted October 8, 2011 Share Posted October 8, 2011 ok i use the oportunity to delete a lot of unuseful stuff on my hd including all AMD drivershit. after that i ran the drivercleaner which was recommended from Tez so far so good installed the newest AMDdriver 11.9 (the first greenscreen occured with 11.8 ) and the started Warthog. hoping hoping hoping et voila Greenscreen :joystick: any "new" suggestions ? spiral Posted October 14, 2011 Author Share Posted October 14, 2011 (edited) well, i just did a whole battery of tests with a mission i made myself that bugged everytime and turned my screen into the Hulk, from the very low settings to the highest, including changes to resolution: and apparently the highest resolutions are a no go, from 1600*1200 to 1920*1080 it gives me a green screen (i say again for emphasis, i CAN get the screen back to normal if i ALT TAB and go back in again) all the others work fine. any idea why this would happen, and what can i do to have my high resolution back? i tried to re-install the game, the drivers, i even re-installed Seven, it didn't work. hope someone can help. Not a solution, just trying to pin down the problem. spiral Posted October 14, 2011 Author Share Posted October 14, 2011 nope, tried that already (long time ago and many times since :D) tought it could be a codec related problem, but no, removing the codecs didn't solve the problem. what's really weird is that it doesn't happen on any other game (Fallout 3, RAGE, Crysis 2, BF3, BMS 4... etc etc). so it doesn't appear to be a hardware problem (overheat or card breaking down from straining). it happens only since i went to Seven 64 bits i might try reverting to 32 bits if i get the courage to re-install windows, but that's not for today.
