Guys, our server still remains in the master server list, [OCB].

Only go’s down if the server crashers.

[OCB] server is a dedicated server at a data center in Sydney Australia, we mainly use it as a ARMA 2 server.

Hope this helps.

What ports is open from Internet side other than 20308 UDP and 80 HTTP. Port 80 is open for TeamViewer of course. Is there a range of other open ports on the gateway Firewall?

I'm guessing it can be related to users logging on/off?

I'm stressing my server and it's running for 34 hours straight now and still on the list. It has a variation of Dragon's Training mission loaded.

You can check it online, server's name is Voando.org BRASIL.

Hope it can help somehow :)

Mmm, you may be on to something here. I found our server still running just now, but it wasn't in the master-server-list anymore. The server is at Tyger's place but I can access it through TeamViewer.

-used TeamViewer to check if DCS World was still running on the server : DCS World was still running

-tried to 'ping' the server : could not ping the server

-accessed server through TeamViewer and restarted the DCS World server

-server is back in the master server list

-server can be pinged

Okay, this is making me think it has something to do with the network/router on the server-side. I'll do some checking.

We didn't have this problem pre 1.1.1 - at least nobody reported it I think.

So this certainly looks like some that could be addressed.

Interesting to know if it's the servers client side connection - or the master server.

ServMan has the possibility to set the server log level to debug mode, will that give more information about the connections?

Nope, it's just more internal spam from ServMan itself.

OK. I have done some config changes and is interrested in reports (hourly) if my server is visible in the master list all evening.

No, the server only shows up in the LAN list if I use port 10308 and only that port. Selecting any other port the server will not show. The server never shows in the Internet part of the list.

That's ok. There's no way for a client to know which port to ask.

The server never shows in the Internet part of the list.

As in never ever? Server in LAN mode will not show in the Internet list. Server in Internet mode should show in LAN list as long as it uses default port 10308.

This is strange c0ff for FC2 have no problem with port 10308 or 10309 and works flawlessly as a server and does never disappear from the list. Pleas check you FC2 code for refferense.

There are a shedload of ports open on our server mainly for arma2.

Don't use TeamViewer, use Ammyy remote desktop.

Only port open for DCS is 20308 for 1.1.1.1 a 10c and 1.1.2.1 for World.

Well your server is most lightly on a official internet address also so there is no NAT on the address. Might be a NAT problem on comminication with the master server at some point. But this is definetly affecting the number of DCS servers in the list, people dont want to monitor their servere evry hour and restart DCS evry other hour, just to much workload on a 24/7 basis.

The AEF's server has been in the list whenever I've looked and it's been running for a few months now. This is just on a home connection behind NAT, with the only inbound ports relating to DCS open being 10308 (TCP and UDP). 1.1.1.1.

Dragon! The STP server is not visible in the list now. Was for one hour ago when I entered, not when I left.

I noticed that. I had to restart the server two times that you can see it in the list again.
