I think Paulrkiii should take a sound recording while sitting in the pit, and doing a walk around. If there's one thing that bugs me, it's the outside view sounds when panning the camera around the jet. From front to rear, the sounds don't change but the volume does. The sounds are completely different front to back.

can you pm paul instead thx or start your own thread.

Dive, that had to do with your sounds mods. I was only mentioning that since Paul works on the A-10C, that maybe he could help you out. I meant no disrespect, and wasn't in any way hijacking your thread.

A-10C - FC3 - CA - L-39 - UH1 - P-51 - Hawk - BS2 - F-86 - Gazelle - F-5E - AV8B - F/A-18C

the mod is almost done now, got approval thumbs from a real pilot so ,

thats good enough for me. thx for your input ideas though.

Already did that for ED anyways...an no offense to your pilot but 10 years away from a jet (maybe I read that wrong) is a long time and memory fades. I was actually just joking about just being an A model pilot, of course the external sounds are the same. We'll see how close your mod is to real world when released...of course I haven't heard every sound possible but I've heard a lot, especially on the ramp and at the range...

Anyways....good work and looking forward to it.

Hi diveplane, can we get a update?

I'm really looking forward to this. Can't wait!

hit a few errors with 1.1.1.1 patch as some of the sounds are not reproducing correct, or its a ongoing

adjustment with some of them from dev team, will have to wait see what the next patch brings on audios and playback, same applies to Blakshark 2 audio mod am working on.

worth the wait though.. might do few more vids on progress stay tuned.

Don't you want to release a BETA and do adjustments after each patch if necessary?

You know that the patches need their time in development.... long time... long time I can't wait. :D

My missions are always a WIP. There are always some adjustments I have to do after each patch. If I would wait till the next patch without release it... I would never release a missions. ;)

Would be cool if you release a BETA.

well done... weeks of update and then payware only for a release after the ED decision !!

Sorry but sounds in the video does still not convince me to pay for that...

Diveplane,

Not to be rude but I think making your audio mods payware is a horrible idea. It might just be me, but I would never pay for audio modifications to a game. I really do think ED adding a payware section is a bad idea in general. Yet again maybe adding a payware section will increase the quality of modifications to come. Just my opinion.

Sounds great, it's unfortunate that some feel the need to complain about payware mods.

I really do hope this doesn't turn into a ranting flaming cesspool of disgrace like the previous posts on this matter...

Having that said, I seriously don't understand the negativism when a user decides to release his work, which cost him hours and hours of effort and dedication, by getting money for it.

It's his work, it's his time. By no means he needs to release it for free.

If you don't like, simply don't buy it.

When you purchased a DCS sim, by no means did you get coupons that granted you free mods and extra content, so I can't figure the ranting that usually arises when people decide they want to sell their work.

If lots of people have the desire to offer up their selves for free, it's their problem and their problem alone.

I, for example, am subtitling a 2 hour and 47 minute-long Noam Chomsky documentary into my native language for a great friend of mine. It's a gift I want to give this person. The work alone will take around 2 months, maybe more, and it could be easily sold for around 5,000 dollars.

It's my decision to give it as a gift, for the things this person has already done to me, but that does not mean my work is available for free in the market.

My honest opinion is, if your work is good enough, and it's charged at a reasonable price, people will pay for it, otherwise it'll be lost in oblivion.

Keep up the good work, diveplane, and let us know of how it's turning out. :pilotfly:

Best regards! :smartass:
