gamerbase Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 Hi I run the chain of UK based cybercafes, http://www.gamerbase.com. I want to start a community 'work shop' training service at my London venue, potentially expanding to my Manchester and Glasgow venues. This will be for community members to visit the venue and book training programs on DCS products, where they can spend the day learning the basics, or more advanced features of the games. This will be with tutors that have proven themselves to be advanced users of the games, and have the ability to teach other gamers. I am looking for people in the UK to apply for the roles as Tutors. They will be paid cash for their time and travel to the venue. You will need to be proficient on TrackIRv5, various controllers and of course your game(s) of choice. Obviously the nearer you are to one of the venues listed above, the better! If you are interested, please message me here, or via the gamerbase website. I will need your location and what game(s) you can teach. Any other information that you think relevant will also be welcome. Also, state how much you would want for your day, training someone from say 10am until 6pm. Im unsure of the price, but I would expect the best teachers to earn £150+ per day, based on what Ive done with other tutor games. Also, if anyone thinks this is a good idea, please post here what sort of courses Tutors can run within the venues. I know for certain, I wish Id had someone who could have sat with me for a few days(!) and showed me around warthog.

Ragtop Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 I'm interested. Based in Maidstone, so I'm an hours train ride from Victoria station. I'm away for Christmas but if you shoot me a PM with the specifics I'll be happy to go through some details in the next couple of days. Lewis. 476th vFG Alumni

monotwix Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 Learning online has gone to incomprehendable VSI. I can teach an ejection procedure for only 99p/minute. And hate for 900 per hour. I know the human being and fish can coexist peacefully.
monotwix Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 My correction I can teach until you learn. In order to carry out the correct procedure, we shall look at the first item on the check list which says: get the f***k out. Once it’s checked, we can proceed with the pre-flight procedures. I know the human being and fish can coexist peacefully.
joey45 Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 I wouldn't mind The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.
