Deadman Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 If any one here is bidding on this I would love to meet you:thumbup: http://www.ebay.com/itm/230738458081?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 https://forum.dcs.world/topic/133818-deadmans-cockpit-base-plans/#comment-133824 CNCs and Laser engravers are great but they can't do squat with out a precise set of plans.
Cali Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 Not worth it, at least for me. i7-4820k @ 3.7, Windows 7 64-bit, 16GB 1866mhz EVGA GTX 970 2GB, 256GB SSD, 500GB WD, TM Warthog, TM Cougar MFD's, Saitek Combat Pedals, TrackIR 5, G15 keyboard, 55" 4K LED

Dropship Pilot Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 http://www.ebay.com/itm/230738458081?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 :megalol: Saw it too! That price is just ridiculus.
Zenga Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 (edited) yeah, I was watching that for a few days too. It was around 130 the last days...which I already found a bit expensive. But what happened? Did they plug some gold nuggets in it?? Look here: I can't tell what the big difference is between those two....well, except the price :( http://www.ebay.com/itm/Bendix-MD-1-Regulator-Oxygen-Diluter-Demand-Automatic-MD-1-/400274401611?_trksid=p5197.m7&_trkparms=algo%3DLVI%26itu%3DUCI%26otn%3D5%26po%3DLVI%26ps%3D63%26clkid%3D6113366527434275755#ht_3522wt_758 Personally, I bought this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/370579096327?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649#ht_500wt_922 It's not 100% the Hog thing, but close...and quite cheap. I'll paint the switches red and green and try to make the green ON/OFF switch working with DCS. Edited February 5, 2012 by Zenga
EtherealN Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 The A-10 one is functional. That MD1 one is not. ;) Pretty big difference, I think you'll agree. :) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Daniel "EtherealN" Agorander | Даниэль "эфирныйн" Агорандер Intel i7 2600K @ 4.4GHz, ASUS Sabertooth P67, 8GB Corsair Vengeance @ 1600MHz, ASUS GTX 560Ti DirectCU II 1GB, Samsung 830series 512GB SSD, Corsair AX850w, two BENQ screens and TM HOTAS Warthog DCS: A-10C Warthog FAQ | DCS: P-51D FAQ | Remember to read the Forum Rules | | | Life of a Game Tester
Zenga Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 That's a difference, true (although not for our purposes..or does anybody plan to really rebuild the entire oxy system of the Hog?) However, look at the one I bought, the description says it's functional too (although from a DC-10 so rather old)... what makes the other one nearly 25 times more expensive?

I just imagine a guy black out in front of his computer simulation, because the oxygen supply failed. :megalol: Damn 800$ is quite a bit of money! Deadman Posted February 5, 2012 Author Posted February 5, 2012 With the original cost of an REGULATOR,OXYGEN between $5,400 to $8,500 if it was Yellow or Green tagged it may have had that value but the item was listed untagged and untested . For that kind of cash i would easily part with a few thing i have on the shelf.:music_whistling: https://forum.dcs.world/topic/133818-deadmans-cockpit-base-plans/#comment-133824 CNCs and Laser engravers are great but they can't do squat with out a precise set of plans.
