Mechanist Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 (edited) With version Su-25T 1.1.2.0 I found these weapon / loadout problems so far. - I can't change my payload via radio menu, there are simply no options beside the default payload. - The S-8OFP2 containers, and S-24B rockets doesn't work. Seems to me like an "illegal payload" problem. Because AI-s can use it. It appears on your controlled airplane to when you start the mission and it is still in pause, but once you press pause it disappears. Definetly an "illegal payload problem" - SPPU-22-01 have no sound - Gunpod ALL (BCE) mode work in funny ways. First you empty the pods then it start to fire the onboard canon. I think it suposed to fire all guns at the same time. - Main gun have no ricohet effect. The briefing log said ith 30mm AP, i think some ricohets must occur with AP rounds. - A bit confused with the explosion effect: first I thought all weapons have the same effect, then i tested all of weapons and came to this conclusion: AP or HEAT weapons have the new "muddy" effect, HE ordenance have the old "big boom" effect. It seemd a solid theory until i came across the KMGU-2 AO version which is an HE FRAG weapon and it had the same "muddy" effect as ap or cumulative weapons. Also The BetAB bombs have the "big boom" which is a bit inaccurate base on the weapon work mechanism. Also Kh-58U have the new "muddy" effect... strange. - Sub munition (all of them), cannons and smaller caliber rocket S-5, S-8 have no crater / impact hole effect. Boberro Posted May 1, 2012 Posted May 1, 2012 I might add now it is harder to fire Vikhrs - much harder than it was in LO2 - it is a bug or as it should be? Saying harder I mean more often they miss (fly out of laser beam scope) when fired in faster speeds and your plane is a bit turned.... in FC2 they didn't miss so often. TurboHog Posted May 1, 2012 Posted May 1, 2012 (edited) - Unguided rockets have no effect at all (at least S5 and S8 ) - Gunpod sound... already reported - Explosions for smaller rockets are overdone, they are just like the explosion caused by a 500kg bomb... :lol:. Also, the 30mm cannon explosions should be bigger (like in A10C) - Gunpods do no damage like the rockets... Edited May 1, 2012 by TurboHog 'Frett'

Mechanist Posted May 6, 2012 Author Posted May 6, 2012 (edited) 1.1.2.1: The good news: - All Illegal payload problem (weapons dissapear on players aircraft) solved in 1.2.1.1 - Vikhr seems to have the same performance back form the FC2 (not so sensitive), or i've just got a lucky streak :D Only tried 16 of them, 14 hit, and the 2 no hits were clearly my fault. Still need fixin': - Still can't reload or refuel. - SPPU-22-01 has no sound - BCE (ALL) gunpod mode still don't work properly. JABO2009 Posted July 18, 2012 Posted July 18, 2012 one additional question regarding load out: I managed to reduce the fuel quantitiy on the ramp from default 100% to my desired quantity... it works out... but it seems the fuel qantitiy indicator still stays on full... both white lines are full indicated, but I have indeed less fuel on board ( the bingo fuel warning appears earlier ;-) anyone else with this? Intel I7 - 10700 K @ 3,80GHz / 64 GB DDR3 / RTX 3090 / Win 10 Home 64 bit / Logitech X56 HOTAS / HP Reverb G2 Running DCS on latest OB version

Also when the ground crew were taking fuel out, did you hear a pump sound effect? The right man in the wrong place makes all the difference in the world. The white lines are only measuring 2 tonnes and bellow. 1-1 tonne for each line. You can get the additional information down in the counter in 10 kg-s. The white lines starts to drop around 60% percent of fuel left. "Fighters make movies, bombers make history."
