I have tried mapping the K-14 range to two different axes of my HOTAS WH Throttle. The range goes like crazy when the axis is moved. I have tried mapping the axes to different functions to verify that there is no problems with the axes themselves.

It works beautifully when assigned to a button. I have a button for decrease range and a button for increase range. It works as a press and hold function.

I set it to the 4 way hat (up and down) on the back of my x52 throttle, works great as a push button rather than an axis

Haven't tried it myself but if its anything like the slew control in the Toad then you'll need to alter the axis curve to give you MUCH less response to your input. That should do the trick.

Slew control is a relative axis while this is an absolute one. Changing the response curve here will maybe make the problem smaller on a tiny interval of the whole scale, but the full scale must be working.

Would lowering the saturation not have the effect you need?

Be sure you don't have duplicate axis and/or buttons. That could lead to many problems.

I just verified both in-game options and the input lua-files for all controllers. Only one axis is mapped to the function, plus the two keyboard buttons for increase/decrease.

It works for me, too. I have it mapped to the 4-way hat that looks like the top of a chess rook piece. I have a CH Pro Throttle. I map top and bottom for range in and out; and left/right for setting wingspan bigger/smaller. I use the CH Control Manager, but map it within Options/Controls.

I have the same problem when using either rotary (top or bottom) on my X-65F throttle.

I checked the rotary output in windows controller settings and it is smooth and very precise. I then mapped it to the pitch command and checked it in-game. It was extremely precise there as well. I could move the stick and it would stay right where I left it. I verified with ctrl+enter control view as well. I then took off and landed the 'Stang using the rotary as elevator pitch. Perfect takeoff and landing. :)

I mapped the K-14 range axis to my joystick y axis. Worked perfectly. I mapped it to my X-52 throttle rotary. Worked perfect.

I verified there were no double-upped axis and I even cleared the keyboard commands for range adjustment.

There seems to be some sort of problem with the K-14 range adjustment axis. I am using the latest patch, 1.1.2.1
