Daze Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 Doesn't look too good. Tragic :( [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] First to Fight, First to Strike.
Pyroflash Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 The real tragedy here is that the CIS, and most other Asian countries have never made any significant effort to reform their airspace and air traffic codes. Right now, those countries are among the least safe in the world for commercial aviation, and it isn't because the pilots or the aircraft are bad. As sad as this incident may be, problems like this will continue to occur until someone over there either accepts to abide by ICAO, or founds their own aviation agency to properly and safely govern the state of air traffic. If you aim for the sky, you will never hit the ground.
LARGE Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 whatever the cause is, i dont think anyone will buy this plane now.. :( so sad, its on regular flights just for a few months and already a crash
Alfa Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 whatever the cause is, i dont think anyone will buy this plane now.. :( so sad, its on regular flights just for a few months and already a crash I think this will depend on the findings in regards to the cause - to the extend it can be established. Right now I think the apparent loss of lives is more sad. JJ
AlphaOneSix Posted May 10, 2012 Posted May 10, 2012 http://www.cnn.com/2012/05/10/world/asia/indonesia-plane-crash/index.html?eref=mrss_igoogle_cnn The wreckage of a Russian passenger airliner that went missing during a demonstration flight over Indonesia has been located in a mountainous area, but rescue workers are yet to find any survivors, officials said Thursday. Teams searching for the plane spotted debris from the Sukhoi Superjet 100 at a height of about 5,800 feet (1,800 meters) on the side of Mount Salak, a volcano south of Jakarta, said Vice Marshal Daryatmo, head of the National Search and Rescue Agency.
MoGas Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 whatever the cause is, i dont think anyone will buy this plane now.. :( so sad, its on regular flights just for a few months and already a crash Well, remember the Airbus incident, where they flew right into the trees and crashed. And today, one of the most selling planes...
