Eddie Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 Yes. Unless you don't want the new features such as the rearming & refuelling menu to work.

JorgeIII Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 (edited) I just configured imputs and multimonitor profiles in 5', not too hard. I found two problems with the 2 monitor setup: 1) Rearming & refuelling menu is splitted between the two monitors. 2) Radio comms menu is on the left of the left monitor, unconfortable to read. Any known way to position them correctly? Thanks. PS: Hope ED makes a monitor profile selector for each DCS World Aircraft, I wouldn't like to have to change the profile every time I choose to flight a different plane. The most crucial aspect of a simulator is its realistic physics and precise aerodynamics, accurately reflecting all flight conditions.
hayesj23 Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 It's really not a big deal. If you've been playing for more than a few weeks you will have already memorized all of your controls.
Outlaw24 Posted May 19, 2012 Posted May 19, 2012 I normally use Joy Button 4 on my Thrustmaster HOTAS (joystick) as a modifier but it seems to missing for the available list. Is it me or was it just omitted? Never mind I guess DCS World recongized I had use Button 4 as a modifier in DCS-P51 and removed it from the list or transferred the modifier over to A-10C, everything is working fine. :) Edited May 19, 2012 by Outlaw24 Spoiler: MSI Z790 Carbon WIFI, i9 14900KF, 64GB DDR4, MSI RTX 4090, VKB STECS Mk ll throttle, VKB Gunfighter Ultimate MCG Pro w/200mm Extension, Winwing Orion Rudder Pedals W/damper, Wingwin Monitors/MFD's, UTC MK II Pro, Virpil TCS Plus Collective, MSI 34" QD-OLED @240Hz monitor, Samsung 970 Pro M2 2TB (for DCS), Playseat Air Force Seat, KW-980 Jetseat, Vaicom Pro, Tek Creations panels and controllers.
ZMEY-HS- Posted May 19, 2012 Posted May 19, 2012 Its a big deal, I have to change all my keyboard, mouse, throttle and joystick controls again Same. LO jets are not a big deal, but DCS's is such a pain... Takes more than hour to rebind all my buttons for keyboard, stick and throttle...
hassata Posted May 19, 2012 Posted May 19, 2012 Anyway to get a print out or something of the old control assignments, or is it just note them by hand and reassign? Also, does it look like just inputs, or are have multi-monitor values an graphics lua changed again? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
KillaALF Posted May 19, 2012 Posted May 19, 2012 I've made screenshots of my Cougar's axis curve settings and that's pretty much all I have to set up anyway, takes about five minutes to do so no big deal for me either.
ALDEGA Posted May 19, 2012 Posted May 19, 2012 If you have some kind of profiling software for your joystick/HOTAS, it's best to use it, rather than binding the buttons in DCS. This way you can avoid having to redo (most of) the bindings.
ilikepie Posted May 19, 2012 Posted May 19, 2012 (edited) copy your preferred "input" folder , monitor lua, and "Aircraft" folder with the init.lua, from the stand alone, and then copy across into dcs world. has taken all of 10 mins to do. all exports are in place, helios functions after redirecting, and control profiles are as i had them set in the standalone a10c. {your mileage may vary} http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=88732 Edited May 19, 2012 by ilikepie link Action After Contemplation
