The Sad part about them as the impossibility of add a new weapon or modify the existent data (I think has hardcode or some similar). I intent modify my P-15U (copied of the existent DCS: W P-15) imposible working.

I don't think it's impossible. DCS 1.5 BETA hasn't been out long enough to say that. There may have been code changes in Combined Arms that allow for this type of mod.

Ok, I discover a Issue which my Pr.183 torpedo boat, when I use 3DS Max converter to make the EDM file, the model "grown" on polygons (50000 - 100000 polygons more added on modelviewer) and when I put them on DCS: W and make a mission whit them, DCS: W crash meanwhile load the mission. Not sure what happens :(

Hey Silver Dragon!

 

Very long time no talk! How have you been I see you have gotten into the 3D modeling of naval war a lot more! I'm glad to see this! I was wondering did they ever expand the game for us to be able to control the vessels now and do naval warfare? Or have you found a way to accomplish this. As I mentioned before Arleigh Burke well now she is the Michael Murphy I re textured her is still up for use if we can find a way to get her to be playable!

Convert the ships to work on DCS: W 1.5 take only 10 seconds by EDM plugins and assign a simple and limited lua. But all of them has on hold status.

 

I only make the videos to test if that work on DCS: 1.5 not more. I intent centre on Pr.205 actually to see how and who functionality work into the simulator (very poor on the naval environment).

Someone has test the Pr.205? I have a issue and not sure if has a bug or my system problem. When open fire the AK230 dont show any type of sound effect. I use the BMP-2 cannon definition to that weapons (on 1.2.16 the fire sound work properly).

In this video you show a possible P-15 as a torpedo. I think the best is take this idea, but with a ship/boat code. You can set to the Pr.205 two boat as a 3D model torpedo and modify the code to make this two boats very fast. Ones the boat touch the water this become invisible but you will get only the water effect. Try this...

The rocket launcher should be ejected after launch. Try take the code from the Tomahawks missiles, or P-700 Granit. they have this feature in game. See video below min 0:43

Testing weapons on Pr.877 Kilo.

 

 

Weapons work, but..... only two uppers torpedo tubes can launch weapons (I use P-15 but I can´t define new weapons into DCS: W). The four lower tubes has useless by reach sea surface. All missile lauched by that tubes "collide" with them (the Sea splash in the video).

 

Edit, torpedo tube doors animated (but incorrect number position on the video, but fixed now), remain add the igla launcher in the sub bridge.

Very smart move. Try set the launch only by the upper torpedo tubes. If you remove the tail smoke of the missile and keep the very low flight then this is becoming close to a torpedo. Remember you can add the tomahawk code from Ticonderoga class to simulate the Kalibr missiles.

Silver_Dragon, I have an idea. You could create a special collision shell for the torpedo object.

 

Keep the collision shell above the water line and put the visible torpedo part below the water.

 

It is bedtime for me but I can try this myself and report back tomorrow.

Actually I have a in progress a Novator 3M-54E01 antiship missile in progress (wait to see any process to add them on DCS: W, and model flight characteristics), That missile has carried by the Pr.877 Kilo, other weapons has 53-65KE and TEST-71ME Torpedoes or DM-1 Mines.
