Phantom88 Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 The two simulation developers I'd love to be included in DCS World are VRS and A2A Simulations. Both have a proven track record developing Highly Detailed Aircraft with high fidelity systems.Im still holding on to some hope they come on board:thumbup: Patrick
G-Lock91 Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 You going to pay to fly a trainer? Any plane can be a "trainer" :) But I understand what you're saying. Having a plane specifically designed to train pilots kind of defeats the purpose of a combat simulator that sucks away hours and hours during the week. :smilewink: [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] "If they can make penicillin out of moldy bread, they can certainly make something out of you" -Muhammad Ali WIN 7 64-bit SP1 | AMD Phenom II X4 955 | 8.0 GB RAM | NVidia GeForce GTX 550Ti | CH Pro Throttle | CH Fighterstick | CH Pro Pedals | TrackIR5

HiJack Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 How can a virtual pilot master what it takes 2 persons to do in real life ? Last time I played BF2 (years ago) the AI in the front seat aof the helicopters killed all he was presentetd to :) Worked fine and I'm confident that ED will solve this to the best of the AI engine's abilities. ED Team NineLine Posted June 20, 2012 ED Team Posted June 20, 2012 Magic pixies. I thought that was obvious? Nobody knows at this point Nate That's fine, as long as those magic pixies are done to DCS level with full APM (Advanced Pixie modelling) :D Forum Rules • My YouTube • My Discord - NineLine#0440• **How to Report a Bug**

Pyroflash Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 Yeah, normally I would be all for a trainer, but the reasons a real military would use such aircraft don't really apply here. We have infinite amounts of perfectly maintained, fueled, and 100% operable frontline fighters which we really could care less whether they crash or not. However, just because I would not use one in-game for any training purposes does not mean that I would not enjoy flying one simply for the sake of flying it. If you aim for the sky, you will never hit the ground.
HiJack Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 Don't know that, sorry. Try the Sweeds that made BF2 ;)

In the case of DCS world, the training jet might be more for training the devs on how to get the aircraft into the game and functioning up to DCS levels, the fact that they would offer to make it available to us if we want it becomes just a bonus, one which we can choose to take advantage of or not :) Edited June 20, 2012 by NineLine Forum Rules • My YouTube • My Discord - NineLine#0440• **How to Report a Bug**
