I was extremely excited for Jet Thunder: Falklands, but after a year without news, it is pretty much confirmed that it's completely dead.

But I still hope to play a Harrier sim someday, or at least some VTOL aircraft. The F-35B lacks the documentary to simulate with any fidelity, so I would like to have a Harrier module for DCS World. You can play with it in ARMA II, but ARMA has atrocious aircraft physics and is just a very rough game overall. It doesn't have to be a switchology aircraft like the Ka-50/A-10C/P-51D, so long as it has the same level of fidelity as the FC2 Su-25 (or slightly more) I will be happy with that. If a Harrier module were developed, would you guys prefer to have the AV-8B or the GR9?

The AV-8B+ is capable of naval operations, ground attack, and limited aerial combat, anti-ship, CAS, and even SEAD. It would offer no shortage of gameplay options, and the level of replayability would be very high. Who wants it?

well, so far what we know for sure is that we´ll create a whole series of Harriers for DCS, release date to be announced, sure they will be for FSX/Prepar3D at first, but they´ll be the base for the DCS version.

Av-8B Harrier II Plus and the GR7 and GR9 are among the chose ones

Technically the AV8B and the GR.9 are the same plane.

The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.

True, but you have to take into account that the GR9 has better pilots :P

Doesn't the GR9 have an HMS and a couple of other upgrades as well as two more weapons pylons.

Always remember. I don't have a clue what I'm doing

I voted Sea Harrier because the FA2 is my favourite, although I would take any quite happily :)

edit: have to agree with the British having the better pilots :D
