WOW ! I have thought about doing this myself. That's how much I loved these games. I can't even begin to tell people how I spent years in depression after Rouge Spear stopped working on modern PC's. That is the closest thing to real combat I've ever experienced. 6 Hour clan matches with 3 V 3 with no Respawn EVER. Now that's tension. Using Game Voice Free. Hosting Ourselves FREE. Call Of Duty looks like and plays like a cartoon to me. I didn't see this until today and now it looks like they didn't make their funding goal gah

I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy and I've had both.

they should make a trackIR 5 suit, not head tracker only for this. I meant as a new trackIR invention... But I like Arma 2, never played Arma 1 . I own Arma 2 and CO and I used to go online with the 7-75th regiment, and the Canadian rifles regiment. I was a Osprey pilot back then.

AWAITING ED NEW DAMAGE MODEL IMPLEMENTATION FOR WW2 BIRDS

Fat T is above, thin T is below. Long T is faster, Short T is slower. Open triangle is AWACS, closed triangle is your own sensors. Double dash is friendly, Single dash is enemy. Circle is friendly. Strobe is jammer. Strobe to dash is under 35 km. HDD is 7 times range key. Radar to 160 km, IRST to 10 km. Stay low, but never slow.

The more I read about it, the more videos I've watched, I realize that this would be a really special project.

I do love ARMA series, but they're missing this infantry "feels real" thing. I remember I was hooked on Americas Army 2 series... Wow, spent some decent hours there, met loads of people from all over the place, with whom we are still friends. We even had a meet in Sweden in 2007.

Anyhow, for all of you, realistic FPS fans, this is "The must check" website

Yes mate, I did... With new engine, it looked better than AA2, but it lost the "feels real" touch. Didn't liked it. Played some more AA2 and then BS came out :)

There is a special feeling about realism that only AA ever caught for me. It could be described as the difference between laserquest and paintball. Laserquest people run about without care and die, paintball there is supression and fear when those nasty balls fly past and you care about avoiding being hit.

That's always what is missing in FPS...cautiousness and I totally get what Peyoteros is saying that this concept is special.

Yes, Because they hurt.............................. alot.

The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.

Funding unsuccessfull

This. These people have been around for a LONG time. Reminds me of Fighter Ops. We shall see. There's another group using kickstarter as well that was successful. The name escapes me at the moment, but they may be someone to watch for tactical real FPS. I'm for doing an Arma style FPS for DCS:World though. Arma is great and realistic! The problem is the clunkiness of the infantry character which makes it impossible to properly move and thus do CQB. And that's because they tied the camera to the skeleton of the object (you). This makes him move like Frankenstein's Monster. And unfortunately, BIS is ignoring all complaints about it, and refuses to remove the camera from the skeleton.
