Actually, I think there are definite military research opportunities to be found in the LHC research. Especially when humanity finally decides to evolve from a society warring over land to a society warring over space (Queue future arguments that President George Bush IV went to war with Neo Canada over the rich resources in their region of the Kuiper belt, and not because the Canadian space Nazis took over Pluto). Togg Posted July 5, 2012 Posted July 5, 2012 I'm happy that the Higgs Boson is proofed now!But it is not the Higgs boson yet. It is a boson which the mass seems compatible with the prediction. The CERN has to measure the spin, ( if Higgs -> spin = 0)in odrer to declare it is the Higgs or it is something else (spin <> 0 ).
