Mt5_Roie Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 Is there any way to bind the bino keys? Under the ground units all I see if movement and firing, but not keys for the bino. I wanted to bind the keys to my joystick to make it easier for my daughter to be my JTAC Coder - Oculus Rift Guy - Court Jester
Daimaju Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 ...to make it easier for my daughter to be my JTAC Awww, that´s awesome!:clap_2: Oh and regarding your question - just check the options/controls? It should be...there... somewhere!
Mt5_Roie Posted July 17, 2012 Author Posted July 17, 2012 That's the first place I looked, but under controls for Ground Unit it only has a key for binoculars, but any of it's functions like laser, IR view, IR, change code, or zoom functions. I did a little training with my daughter last night. She's getting quite good and taking out armor. I took some pictures: Coder - Oculus Rift Guy - Court Jester

Mt5_Roie Posted July 17, 2012 Author Posted July 17, 2012 It's officially driving me nuts. I"ve searched all the input files in the CA folder looked at all the LUA files. It's like JTAC function are somwhere completely seperate. Would be nice to be able to add them to the keyboard input file if we know the Icommand function. Coder - Oculus Rift Guy - Court Jester
Daimaju Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 Since its a Beta, I expect better controls and more options later... Kinda offtopic but you should teach her the lingo and make a video... Cant wait to hear a child clear an A10 hot and guide some LGBs! xD

I would imagine they function in a way similar to the A-10 radio 'F#' keys. The function doesn't exist in the general sim world, only within the JTAC mode. I would assume they are part of the code that us running when you are a JTAC and that is inaccessible.
