RichardG Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 I joined a MP game with good ping. Fired off 6 hellfires at armored targets, and watched the weapons splash on target without killing anything.
kokoweems Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 In SP a majority of the hellfires are overshooting the target
Grimes Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 Hellfires or Mavericks...? Also short tracks demonstrating the problem help. The right man in the wrong place makes all the difference in the world. RichardG Posted July 19, 2012 Author Posted July 19, 2012 Oh...its Mavericks. If you remind me how to record a track, and where its stored, I'll post one. I dont do that often.
Grimes Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 When a flight ends in Single Player there is the screen showing all of the actions of the aircraft, tanks, etc in the mission. There is a button "Save Track". Click it and choose where you want the file to go to. In MP, tracks are saved automatically in X:\Users\windowsloginname\Saved Games\DCS \Tracks\Multiplayer The right man in the wrong place makes all the difference in the world. badger66 Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 Yeah , Ive noticed more miss's with the Mav's in world too .
Dejjvid Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 I believe they were way too accurate in previous versions. I get around 95% hits in 1.2.0. Only the ones fired really low that tend to go under the surface and end up at Lucifers place. i7 8700K | GTX 1080 Ti | 32GB RAM | 500GB M.2 SSD | TIR5 w/ Trackclip Pro | TM Hotas Warthog | Saitek Pro Flight Rudder [sigpic]http://www.132virtualwing.org[/sigpic]
Tailgate Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 Maybe ED is trying to even the playing field for the CA folks. ;) Yeah, I've had several overshoots.
Pyroflash Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 I've found that if you are aligned in your crosshairs, you almost never miss If you aim for the sky, you will never hit the ground.
Furious Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 There was a training server up yesterday where targets were indestructible. This was purposefully done for practice. Might have been that....
Tailgate Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 Happens in SP. I think it's angle off and range. In 1.1.1.1., targets could almost be underneath you and you'd get a hit. 1.2 is probably more realistic,
