At last! I finished it! now you can print and read extra original material for the 51D. Some good questions to be answered at the end too.

What is the actual identity of the manual this came from?

I have no idea, buddy. I just found it on scribd.com. I decided to flick through it, and when it was that detailed, I decided to go ahead and write it. It has no photos though.. Why do you ask?

Just curious since it is so much older than the official 1F-51D-1, dated 15 July 1952 (that covers our aircraft). I wondered who published it and what airframe it is based on. NOTE: I didn't read the whole thing to see if it was mentioned.

I've read this document today and I'm very pleased. Most of the info is the same as in the manual but there are some nice things about COG and balance management with the fuel tanks... :thumbup:

 

You need to spread some ... Same problem on this side :P
