I was flying the quickstart dogfight mission the other day. The enemy P51 didn't stand a chance of course (not quite true) and I was thinking: It would be nice if I can spawn a new one...

 

 

Dogfight on Demand

 

Dogfight on Demand is an interactive dogfight training mission and makes use of the F10 radio menu to allow the player to spawn enemy planes. You will have the following options:

 

1 - 1 x P51D

2 - 1 x A10C

3 - 1 x SU25T

4 - 1 x L39ZA

5 - 2 x P51D

6 - 2 x A10C

7 - 2 x SU25T

8 - 2 x L39ZA

9 - 2 x Allied P51D

10 - Bonus

 

You can spawn these flights in order or all at once, it depends on you! A multiplayer version is also available. This mission is not suitable for dedicated servers since the host must control the F10 radio commands. This is not possible for other clients.

gr8 idea mate!!!! Is this compatible with beta patch 2? I have it, and not the latest patch. "You must spread......blah blah blah..."

Fat T is above, thin T is below. Long T is faster, Short T is slower. Open triangle is AWACS, closed triangle is your own sensors. Double dash is friendly, Single dash is enemy. Circle is friendly. Strobe is jammer. Strobe to dash is under 35 km. HDD is 7 times range key. Radar to 160 km, IRST to 10 km. Stay low, but never slow.

Tested for V1.2.0...

 

I now realize that unlimited Ammo and fuel are still a forced setting. Edit the mission if you want to remove it. In the next version I will remove all forced settings so that everyone can use their own...

The menu option do not work in MP.

 

They do for the host. At least in v1.1.1.1 they did.

 

I will probably make a version with clients (you can do yourself now if you want) later. Also thinking about a Mustang only version with battles of 16 vs 16 Mustangs or something.

Multiplayer version added as requested...

 

Please report if the radio menu works in multiplayer for the host. He should be able to see the radio commands from what I recall from non-DCS world.

it works too, F10 nicey likey ! just tested as host and got jumped by far to many planes. FANTASTIC ! i must shout.

 

can we spawn planes into their own missions ?

we need a scenario that can occupy the minds of DCS:CA players too but in with & concentrated with the p51 action !

what abouts a bombing training scenario spawning some ground targets for the p51's ?

8 player versions.

a version spawning bomber attacks which need defending from.

 

sorry if im getting carried away but i like this format, want to see where it can go....

Can we spawn planes into their own missions? So like calling in CAS for a specified target you mean? Already made such a thing so that possible...
