All members of the DCS forum's can show up to fun fly, fly formation, do long endurance flights requiring aerial refueling. Maybe have a section of the map loaded with SAMS protecting a single target, first to destroy it wins... Etc. I could see this being a very good time, lots of laugh's and the chance for some good video clips or screen shots. Can this be done? Any interest to do so? I hope they will pick that up again (never been able to attend myself :(). Good, fast, cheap. Choose any two. Come let's eat grandpa! Use punctuation, save lives!
ilikepie Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 The sim hq fly ins were/are great. there hasn't been one for a little while, not sure why not, may have had something to do with the servers crashing, for various reasons, stack overflows, .dll crashes etc. Would be good to see one on the horizon again. Wrecking Crew Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 Hi guys :-) The last SimHQ Fly In was a week long fest just a month ago in August. The only issue is that we are still using v1.1.1.1 because of the multiplayer issues in the current DCS World. There is also an issue with "MISSING" building-units in DCS World that if not fixed will obsolete most of the v1.1.1.1 missions we have been enjoying over on Eno's Firehouse server. We are still flying in the Firehouse if you want to join us there on the older version.
