Track?

And the absence of contrails in your screenshot? Heat-Blur? As said, dead engines.

:megalol:

I cannot believe you'd be calling me a liar but there it is :megalol:

Here we go:

Provide a track then ;)

Again, you are showing just after a starting waypoint, at time 12:00:03...

The interesting thing is that 13700m came out as 38000ft??? Bug?

HUD stops at 38 000. But then again, you would have known that had you actually flew there as opposed to spawned there.

Here we go - got bored at 41 000ft, departed and landed :)

Contrails off the wing tips, you mean? Should there necessarily be any there?

Also, he might have heat blur off.

Not saying he didn't cheat, of course, it seems likely to me he did.

Is that a simulation thing, or does the real one stop there too?

I'm not sure. I would hesitate a guess and say it's a SIM thing as the Toad also seems to have a limit to the HUD reading.

The service ceiling is apparently 45 000', and I can't imagine the altimeter of the real one not being reliable beneath the ceiling. Then again I'm a layman, maybe that is plausible.

Yes you would have.

....37,000ft....

Still having difficulty eh?

Herewith another track from a runway start at Batumi, climbing to 41 600 feet and landing at Sochi. As mentioned earlier, maintain a steady climb and all will be OK.

A-10C climb speed = 200 knots (IAS) - 1 knot per 1000ft above MSL, follow that climb profile and 40,000ft MSL + is quite achievable with a clean jet.

My, Corrigan! Looks like you really can see the lights of Earth's cities from space. I didn't expect there to be clouds in orbit, though. Maybe nebulas?? I thought those were like really far away, with them quasars and pulsars 'n' stuff?
