GAJ52 Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 I have previously supported ED and bought Blackshark One, then paid for the update for Blackshark Two. I have now bought a new computer and in the process of re-installing all my software, including DCS Blackshark. I now have to install Blackshark One just to install Blackshark Two. This is crazy, why can't ED recognize those of us that have paid for the Blackshark Two update and issue a special installation code so we can install just Version Two. My only other option is to buy Blackshark for a third time so I can dispense with the BS1 installation and save unnecessary hard disk space :noexpression: Glen GAJ52 Intel i7-7700K @ 4.60GHz | 32 GB Ram | Win 10 Pro 64 | GTX 1080i 11.00MB | Saitek X52 Pro

Because the BS2 upgrade is cheaper then the BS2 stand-alone. So you ED has somehow validate that you're eligible for the update version. If such check was not there, then you could buy the cheaper upgrade version even if you don't own BS1 The Valley A-10C Version Revanche for FC 3
flanker0ne Posted September 13, 2012 Posted September 13, 2012 ED can ask the customer's BS1 serial back, and if valid, can gave to him a new BS2 Full serial. SCOPRI DI PIU': https://www.amvi.it/joinus.php DISCORD COMBINEDOPS The Battle Planning Tool

While I understand, to a certain extent, the frustration some have over this issue, imagine the task at hand were ED to do such a thing. Once the process was setup... Check the BS1 and BS2 upgrad keys. Then invalidate the upgrade key and provide a new key, so nearly simultaneously, such that users have no 'keyless' period of downtime. Then ED would have to process thousands of such requests for new keys in a 'timely' manner. Not exactly simple. ;) ASUS ROG Maximus VIII Hero, i7-6700K, Noctua NH-D14 Cooler, Crucial 32GB DDR4 2133, Samsung 950 Pro NVMe 256GB, Samsung EVO 250GB & 500GB SSD, 2TB Caviar Black, Zotac GTX 1080 AMP! All has to be coordinated with Starforce. - And I don't believe that Starforce do this for free.
