SmokeyTheLung Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 Any new effects? Do 500 and 2000 pound bombs still generate the same effect? Do CBU-97s, 87s, pretty much every rocket and missile still use the same explosion effect? System specifications: Computer, joystick, DCS world, Beer
YoYo Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 Any new effects? Do 500 and 2000 pound bombs still generate the same effect? Do CBU-97s, 87s, pretty much every rocket and missile still use the same explosion effect? Effect is better now but be ready for new slideshow, I prefer effect from Strike Fighters, maybe worse but no influance for fps at all. Frogisis Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 Even if it hasn't been implemented yet, that "manual" option is great, especially since some of us fly all the different aircraft and it's easy to get something turned around in your memory. I'd love an option to review your key bindings during a mission as well, even if for loading reasons you couldn't change them. For when it goes wrong: Win10x64, GTX1080, Intel i7 @3.5 GHz, 32GB DDR3, Warthog HOTAS, Saitek combat rudder pedals, TrackIR 5 / Vive Pro, a case of Pabst, The Funk

Frogisis Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 Awesome, I'm still downloading the "World" core right now but will give it a try in apparently "4h57m" For when it goes wrong: Win10x64, GTX1080, Intel i7 @3.5 GHz, 32GB DDR3, Warthog HOTAS, Saitek combat rudder pedals, TrackIR 5 / Vive Pro, a case of Pabst, The Funk
SmokeyTheLung Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 As I said, try it when flying the P-51. Nate A great feature! ...Can't help but noting that, for me, p-51 might be the only module that rarely requires a manual check in flight :D System specifications: Computer, joystick, DCS world, Beer

ED Team Olgerd Posted October 1, 2012 ED Team Posted October 1, 2012 Ah.. In fact the new APU sound uses 7 (seven) different samples in total. Some of them are used either for start or for stop only, and some are common. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] К чему стадам дары свободы? Их должно резать или стричь. peter Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 Ill tell you what I have noticed. Maybe it was in the version before, not sure. P-51, gun run, when you hit grass or earth normal gun effect, when you hit concrete or asphalt, you get sparks that fly like a disintegrating bullet. Pretty cool!
menendezdiego Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 For whatever reason, the fire/smoke of my mavericks are green. Can anyone else confirm this?
