SkateZilla Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 i have this problem when going from Menu to MP, sound goes out in MP. SkateZilla Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 i fixed my problem by disabling my studio hardware in device manager, leaving only my X-Fi. (Black Magic Audio, Deck Link Audio, and AMD HDMI Audio). Then went into DCS turned all the sliders down, exited options screen, went back and turned everything back up. I had issues with it cutting out when going to Tactical/MAP View (F10) and back, but I think the card itself powered down that time. Windows 10 Pro, Ryzen 2700X @ 4.6Ghz, 32GB DDR4-3200 GSkill (F4-3200C16D-16GTZR x2), ASRock X470 Taichi Ultimate, XFX RX6800XT Merc 310 (RX-68XTALFD9) 3x ASUS VS248HP + Oculus HMD, Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS + MFDs
ED Team c0ff Posted October 4, 2012 ED Team Posted October 4, 2012 Simply setting X-Fi as a primary device should work as well. Dmitry S. Baikov @ Eagle Dynamics LockOn FC2 Soundtrack Remastered out NOW everywhere - https://band.link/LockOnFC2.

BRooDJeRo Posted October 5, 2012 Posted October 5, 2012 I didnt have any sound in the multiplayer client only. For some reason sound was turned off in the Win7 volumemixer which wasnt before. Maybe this is also the case for others. How this could happen is unclear to me. All i know is that i didnt turn it off or anyone else. Im the only one that lives here and the only one that has access to this machine.
SkateZilla Posted October 5, 2012 Posted October 5, 2012 i had that too. but turning up windows volume for the application didnt fix it. Please, update DirectX Runtime... Are you able to update DirectX?? Also what sound card are you using it could be that you need updated drivers for the sound card?? Hi Neph. There is an option to update DirectX to DirectX - 2010 (if that is the same thing as ..... runtime?), but I get a a message when trying to update that I have a later version already. In regard to my sound card I don't see it mentioned in a Belarc check. Is it part of my motherboard? My specifications are in my signature over at TAW. EDIT: is it herehttp://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f195/Wombat1940/sound.jpg[/img]"] somewhere? EtherealN Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 Wombat1940, your motherboard does have an integrated sound cirquit - a Realtek ALC850. Sound drivers here: http://www.asus.se/Motherboards/AMD_Socket_939/A8NSLI_Deluxe/#download Unfortunately they are very very old.
